ew. it looks like a really ugly read-to-wear collection:unsure::huh:

i could find stuff at my local value village thats nicer looking than this:sick:

What is this......?
All of it is ugly and almost a bit trashy. Looks cheap.

Her collections always look like RTW to me. But haute couture isn't all about extravagance.. I really don't like this, though.

I love how simple and understated it is. Couture isn't about crazy clothes, it's about understated skill and craft. You'd be surprised at how simple Dior and Balenciaga Haute Couture used to be.

That said, I see a puckered side seam along that yellow dress with the cowl neck. That's not so good. This sort of thing requires flawless construction to be pulled off.

Other than that, it reminds me of Martin Margiela and I like it.

^perfectly stated, mutterlein.
I agree about the MM references, though this feels slightly more conservative, in a good way.

Maybe I've just been spoiled by Christian Dior..

I get that it's understated, a little ironic I guess.
But I don't think the idea was executed that well.

wow, exactly what i was thinking. i am fine w/ Haute Couture not being gaudy and grand if it is well made and seeing that puckering just makes me think that its not.

if this were ready to wear, i actually quite like it. very minimal but interesting shapes. but as haute couture, i feel like they should have worked harder in the craftsmanship

i don't like the make up. some of the clothes are nice like the yellow dress, it's subtle yet minimal; but overall, i'm just not feeling the collection.

It tried to create a differen silhoette. I'm thinking it might be a failure, but I'll be more open. I like the back of one of the red dresses though.
