Well Adriana fans...we might as well get ready for a let down. I've heard rumors on another board that Doutzen might be getting the fantasy bra...I'm sorry but this is the crappiest news I've heard in a while if it's true. This girl is so far from deserving it it's not funny, she's not even an angel. I didn't want Miranda or Marisa to get it..but DOUTZEN??? If this turns out not to be a rumor I will just loose all faith in Victoria's Secret. Adriana has been working for the company for 10 years, and an angel for 8 she is way beyond deserving.

People are saying Doutzen might get it because of her English is better....uh far from it! Plus she doesn't have the star power to carry it...last year when Selita wore it she didn't get booked for many talk shows because she didn't have the name to carry it off..how about giving it to an angel who is deserving, charming and has the supermodel name.

Now I'm not saying this rumor is true..I just heard it. But I got so enraged when I heard this..and it made me even more mad when people were saying Doutzen would deserve it. Part of me really really doesn't believe this...because they ALWAYS give it to an angel, and she's not an angel at all, and she would have to be now because they shoot the bra in a couple of months. So I'm really kind of I'll believe it when I see it. Also I would love to see Adriana get it this year since this is Adriana's 10th year with them, and it's the 10 year Angels anniversary...so I'm still really hoping that Adriana will get it

But sorry don't believe it...doutzen isn't famous enough for it..she doesn't english well enough...and here's the big thing that makes it impossible for her to have it...she's not an angel. I would say with all my knowledge of vs over the last few years there is about 10% truth to this rumor

Selita got to wear it after two years of being an angel. Doutzen isn't even an angel...and Selita had worked for Vs since 2003. Doutzen has worked for them steadily since early 2006 and isn't an Angel.

Adriana deserves it...to say Doutzen does is stupid. Adriana has worked for Vs since 1998! She's been contracted as an angel since 2000, and she's participated in all of the vs shows since 1999. To say Doutzen deserves it compared to Adriana is again stupid.

But like I said I believe there is about 10% truth to this rumor....she's not anywhere near the supermodel status Adriana is, and she doesn't have the name or star power to get tv shows and late show interviews like they require for the fantasy bra. So I truly believe with Adriana mentioning it in an interview...she's most likely getting it...Doutzen doesn't deserve it far from it...and I don't think she'll get it. I think with Adriana's hint she was dropping I think she's getting it this year...along with her having the superbowl commercial (which was a HUGE thing)

This is only a rumor a member said on another board it hold about 10% truth to it...so it's not for sure she got it. I really don't think she did.

Adriana has dropped a hint in an interview that she'll be getting it..and she's been doing a whole lot of PR for Victoria's secret...and they've been polishing up her english a bit more..and she's been doing many solo interviews..so honestly it looks like Dri could get it this year because it looks like they are prepping her for it.

Plus I don't expect a new angel anytime soon. They already have 7, and they just signed Marisa...usually they wait a year in between. Plus most of the angels just signed a contract or renewed theres. I know Adriana said in a recent interview her recent contract with Vs she just signed has 5 more years left. So I don't think they'll be adding any more angels anytime soon..which makes this rumor even weaker because the girl that wears the bra must be a supermodel/angel and without that no chance.

Doutzen makes VS ads since 2003 , and has done 2 VS shows so far .Selita began an angel after 2 shows and Marisa Miller after 1 VS show. I don't wanna be off-topic, but Doutzen has 100% chances to begin the new VS angel:she's the most beautiful, she has the best VS body and she's in the Forbes top (with her own money - no billionaire/famous bfs)
Anyway, it would be great if Adri will attend more VS launches!

As for the forbes list...Are you serious? Please tell me you are joking because it's really scary if you believe what you said. The forbes list does not include famous boyfriends money in the girls incomes it's based on their incomes, campaigns and contracts. Adriana made the actual celebrity forbes list for years...the only forbes list Doutzen was on was the little Supermodel one..which doesn't account for anything. Adriana was on that forbes list as well...much higher than Doutzen.

If you are such a die hard Doutzen fan...go in her thread. But I can tell you she doesn't deserve the bra...compared to an angel who has worked for the company for 10 years and been an angel for 8 years. I'm not saying Doutzen doesn't deserve to be an angel..and she will in a few years. But I've been a fan of vs for going on 7 years..and I know how they operate..and they aren't going to have a squad of 8 or 9 angles. Doutzen right now does not have the supermodel or popular status to promote the bra..pretty much everyone in the general public knows who Adriana is...I bet I couldn't find 10 people out on the main streets who know who Doutzen Kroes is...maybe in a few years yea...but not now.

As for Selita...NO...she was signed as an angel in 2005 then she did her two shows. Marisa was signed after her first vs show.

But again with Adriana dropping hints and what seems like the company prepping her for it this year...I think she'll get it.

I know who made top..and it's offensive because Adriana didn't make the list because of her boyfriends...none of the girls did in that list. There boyfriends have NOTHING to do with that list, and how they are ranked.

Actually it's very hard to become an angel...it's a very high spot to have. You don't sound like you even know what you are talking about....
Seniority/Veteran status has nothing to do when you are signed to be an angel...most models are signed after 1-2 years work with Victoria's Secret. You become a veteran angel (like Adriana) after working for them for many years under being with contract (Adriana with 8 years of contract, 2 without contract total of 10 years) But Victoria's Secret takes a long time to decide who their angels were and are...it takes A LOT to get signed to be a VS angel. The fantasy bra usually goes to the biggest supermodel...last year was the only exception. Most of the time the fantasy bra goes to the most famous angel...Hence Heidi, Gisele, and Tyra. Adriana is the most famous angel out of that group and she's been with them the longest...and as with any company seniority does have a lot to do with what gets handed out to each model.

I've been a fan of VS for years and years..and I can tell you not once have they ever had a group of angels of 8-9 angels. Nor have they ever signed another angel so soon...I'm not saying Doutzen shouldn't be an angel..but I don't think she will be for another few years...and she doesn't deserve the fantasy bra in any stretch of the imagination before Adriana, Alessandra, or even Izabel for that matter.

I would bet every dollar I have that Adriana gets the bra this year..simply because of her star power, her name, the hint she dropped, and the fact that they have been pretty much prepping her for it this year...sending her on many interviews and etc. She was given the superbowl commercial as well...I'm guessing they will bank on that as well, to promote her.
