Love the boots, and the black/white look in #3, this looks interesting.
oooh, notice the boots....they look like they're made to look like horses hoofs. love it!
loving the wool felt pieces very much and the rounded shoulders.
those boots look like a horses leg, not nice at all.
this the AF i love
i lost them a bit over the past few seasons (ever since fw 07)
but this is flippin gorgeous
Second photo of #2,she could be a bear. And I actually love the hoof-shoes
I love horse hoof boots!
Basically, I'm having an 80's withdrawal so anything that looks modern or a good interpretation is good in my book
This is great, I love that they re-explored the equestrian theme. And the diagonal draping looks fresh...a solid effort, nothing comes close to their FW07 collection though
totally have to agree with Kiddo about the 80's theme. The boots are a growing on me as I re look at the images. I wonder what their profile looks like. hmm
Some of it is too bulky for me, but I'd always have a soft spot for AF Vandevorst, one of my very first designer purchase is an avant-garde shirt by them, and I love how there's nothing except that little sewn cross on the collar. I wish they'd move forward more, but this is a vast improvement over the past two seasons!
the shoes...take a look at them up close! extraordinary their signature obsession and usage with felt and leather ribbon strappings....and that glorious hoof structure. they do some of the best shoes...inventive but always a little bit down to earth...even with that heel.
