How do you think AI is going to affect our fashion industry?

Even if there's a disclaimer....do you think people actually care enough to push back?? People might prioritize convenience and cost-effectiveness like they generally do!I don't want to overshare yet also don't want to make it seem like I'm part of the *~fashion industry~* (more like adjacent? part of it, but not like luxury?) but it's already affecting it, tbh.
It's ironic but sad that we thought the creative fields were safe from AI, but it turned out to be the other way around. I've seen various services that are gaining traction that will replace models, replace products, or even generate an entire photoshoot from scratch.
The latter being the final goal as photoshoots are expensive and the big suits see them as having diminishing returns (but really is it something you can measure accurately to begin with? can you measure how successful a well-developed and carried out aesthetic is?).
The only saving grace is that on social media (and even the paid ads side) there must be a disclaimer if AI was used. So really it's up to the people at this point. If there's pushback and AI images are rejected and don't generate results then maybe it won't become a common occurrence.
Honestly? No 💀 The masses do not care. But I don't hold it against them. With the world in such a turbulent state, it can be exhausting to fight every battle there is so I don't blame people for focusing on other things.Even if there's a disclaimer....do you think people actually care enough to push back?? Well, we never know maybe AI will oversaturate the market with ‘perfect’ images, and the pendulum will swing back to more authentic, human-driven creativity.Honestly? No 💀 The masses do not care. Personally, I see it shifting back eventually to some extent if we go down that path though. Kind of how like nowadays being "skinny" or having BBLs has become too accessible (in the eyes of celebrities/influencers) and being slim and toned/with a little muscle is becoming more trendy because it's a privilege to have the time, energy, and resources to get fit like that.
When/if AI becomes the norm then you'll have companies that will go against the grain just because they can and have the means to do so.
In the meantime it'll be a power creep. It's starting with simple stuff like producing realistic mock-ups or generating patterns or images and then it'll snowball until models start selling their likeliness or companies just creating their own AI models from scratch.
