I've been shopping at Aldo a lot recently for shoes, and I've realized that they make the best look-a-likes. And they are hundreds of dollars cheaper! The quality is great, though. They're not cheesy looking like a lot of other look-a-likes.

I was in there just yesterday and spotted some great Chloe look-a-likes. Huge platform mary-janes. And they were only $80. I cannot WAIT to buy them. They have awesome Louboutin look-a-likes for $100 or less. They've also got some new platform booties for only $130.

This store is my new obsession. Anyone else an Aldo-lover out there?

Sorry I absolutely hate Aldo.
They have cheap cheap shoes at not so cheap prices (considering the quality).
I have to admit they have been getting better but I'm still not a fan.

Yes, the bags are lovely! And cost much less than the shoes. A jumbo sized balenciaga motorcycle bag look-a-like was only 40 bucks. I had my eyes on that bag. But as soon as I came back to the store to get it one day, it was gone. =[

Seems to me Aldo and Nine West are both adept at doing knock-offs (though each picks on different designers to copy) and both are about the same price range, but Nine West almost ALWAYS is far better quality, both for leather and construction.

I actually think they are a little over priced for the quality. They make good knock-offs but to still charge $150 I think is a little much concidering the leather they use.

Yeah, Ninewest is pretty good, too. It seems like Aldo is quicker with catching on with the trends though, which is why most of my look-a-likes are from Aldo (because I see them there first). Mad props to Nine West though, their shoes are awesome too.

Oh my God, I am completely in love with the last ones. I tried them on in the store not even a month ago. I just don't know if they would go with any of my outfits. I tried them on with skinny jeans and they didn't look right.

I feel the exact opposite actually! I refuse to buy any more Nine West shoes unless they're on mega sale as they all fall apart really fast, and all the Aldo shoes I've had take a beating and last a much longer time.

Sometimes I just wait for them to go on sale. A lot of times it doesn't take long, and they'll be at least $20 off. But you get a way better deal. I just got some white flats for just $30, I think the normal price was $60. I never would have paid $60 for plain white flats from Aldo.

i am loving the "nellida" shoe, the ankle boot with the bow. if it were 50% off id get it.

i cant wait for the platform chloes to go on sale!

i think the quality is sufficient.

Aldo is crap quality. Within weeks of buying these in fuchsia, the outer layer of color peeled off at the tip when I tripped.

Yeah.... though they are trend-conscious, the shoes are of dubious quality..... and I hate the fact that they've done those Louboutin-esque shoes in the most horrible colours - bright blue turquoise, hot pink??? Urgh.....

I really like this pair but i have no clue about the quality though it depends of the shoe and not the brand....
