Alexander McQueen F/W 12.13 Paris

I had high hopes for this collection. This is so not McQueen and so ugly!!!

I like the horse hoof inspired boot and thats about it. The rest is so bad that I'm not even feeling any second hand embarrassment for Sarah.

I truly resent this! I cant believe she thought she sent down the runway, a innovative take on "futurism", its so lackluster and without imagination!

I dont see the reviews being bad though, the fashion crowd adores her.

Futuristic? Yes......If you consider the original Star Wars films take on futurism. :p I don't know if this woman is battling the Abominable Snowman or if she is the Abominable Snowman!

When I opened nowfashion.com my first thought was why they are once again repeating the same images, but when I peered into details I realized that this is not nowfashion.com fault. So sad to see such a collection, because I expected more from Sarah Burton this season. I really hope that next season will be much more successful for Sarah.

My eyes hurt

Has she exhausted the archives? This look like a graduate's collection from the Armani School of Design where every garment is a slight variation of the last:

Here we have a short skating dress with a fur fichu. Now we have the same dress with a peplum. Now we have the same dress without sleeves. Now we have the same dress with a cape..............

Seriously, Lee's probably turning and coughing up fur balls in his grave.

Words can't describe how sad I am. This collection is just a disaster and there is no way to find anything positive about it.

W O W. McQueen must be turning in his grave.
where is the tribal ? where is the tragic ? where is the exotic ? where is the punk ? where is the seasonal risk and reinvention ? where is the hard ? the edge ? where is the risk ?

remains fur, dresses and fairy tales - what was nice the first season. NOW, this is very time to CHANGE the art direction ...
* I'm not saying Sarah should go (though she only did a worthy collection to look at). but that McQueen is NOT a Brides and Bridesmaids brand.

funny, so now music has no connection to the show, though somebody said that it was good

well, I kind of liked that show, despite everyone says

It makes me think of a children's cartoon about a group of girl power crime fighting sheep. Looking at the HQs I just really cannot with this. Even deconstructing some of the less awful pieces, I can't see how you would make them wearable enough to not look completely ridiculous.

I just don't even know what to say. Like what's the point. This is not what we will see in the shops. What a miss.

I know I'm the 300th person to say this, but I do not want to look at McQueen (British fashion's pride and joy....) and see Lady Gaga. The peroxide blonde wigs - the visors? I want to see art and finesse and emotion.

Was this Sarah's Inspiration board?

Paris Fashion Week in short: Mr. West steals the show with stolen ideas and Sarah Burton delivers poodles on stage...a lot of them.

I actually had a change of heart. I actually like this collection. I watched the show and it was pretty amazing. I will admit, It was not the most diverse collection but it is definitely exploring some new territory for the brand.

No darkness. No story. No McQueen :(

I've been trying to be optimistic about Sarah. I get that she has to make the brand more profitable, and has to live up to a legend of a designer. It's not easy. But this collection is not the answer!
