Hello everyone....I'm new here...my first time posting here. Actually was already registered before but I was more of an observer. Anyway, thank you ronchamp for posting those lovely eds of Alice...Her facial expressions have improved tremendously from before but I do hope that she'll vary it more in the future and do more different and crazier expressions like laughing, cringing or crying. The lighting of those eds are beautiful! Hopefully we'll see Alice in the pages of Vogue Italia one day and maybe on its cover if that's ever possible! One thing about her facial expressions that I really don't think that she should be doing are those open mouth looks. She just doesn't know how to do it naturally and it looks weird and a bit off. Anyway, hello to all Alice fans out there!

IrvingLorenzo, great post and I absolutely agree about the open-mouthed thing. It looks very stiff and I think this habit is the reason I wasn't too fond of her editorials before. Happily, in recent photos, she seems to do it less. The best thing for her would be to find a photographer who can give her excellent directions on how to hold her face.

the dress doesn't flatter her at all....makes her look pregnant. and why is she jutting her head out in those shots, it doesn't work for her somehow. gosh, and she looks like a sad person....wish she'd lighten up and smile more or laugh. i mean, even in her backstage fashion show pics, she almost always looks sad and lonely...it's like she doesn't want to mix around with other models, such as in the Celine backstage pics, while Tanya, Irina (I think) and Karlie are all taking pics and smiling close to each other, she's all by herself next to them looking down on the floor looking lonely. Gosh, she needs to learn from Tanya D. If she's around Tanya all the time I'm pretty sure she's gonna have a blast all the time and make people love her more... Anyhow, I still love Alice!

She looks nonchalant chic and slightly artistic, it suits her personality. However the monotone colors and the bow in front of her belly does make it look somewhat large. Her waist is so tiny though. Quite impressive.

She looks sad because of her down-turned eyes. She's probably heard it her whole life.

She probably doesn't know many of the models that well yet? Next season she may be more comfortable. We know she's shy and reserved; I can't ever imagine her being so extroverted like Tanya (and tbh, I kinda hope she doesn't, I think Alice's serene and composed nature backstage only enhances her appeal).

But anyway, it's not like it really matters. As long as she performs when she needs to perform, what difference does it make?
