SHE'S already in vogue with the world's top designers, now model marvel Alice Burdeu is poised to strike a pose both in and away from the pages of the local fashion magazine that catapulted her to international fame.

Less than a year after Vogue editor Kirstie Clements opted to put the Australia's Next Top Model winner on the cover of the fashion bible, Burdeu will be lauded as a Vogue protegé and cover girl when she jets into Sydney next week.


Direct from shooting Dolce & Gabbana's latest campaign with acclaimed photographer Mario Testino, the willowy redhead is lined up to shoot her second Vogue spread and cover, as well as joining Clements as a front row ambassador for the magazine at top shows during Rosemount Australian Fashion Week.

So does this mean she won't walk any shows?

She's walking!

Clements confirmed the winner of last year's series, Alice Burdeu, now based in New York, would return to Sydney to work for a Vogue feature for Australian Fashion Week.
Burdeu will also open Alex Perry's Fashion Week catwalk show. Perry, who appears each week in the judging on the program, also makes a few choice comments, including comparing one contestant to Herman Munster.

Exclusive: Australia’s model-of-the-moment Alice Burdeu will be making an appearance at the upcoming RAFW collections as an Ambassador for Vogue Australia. The flame-haired beauty will watch on from the front row with the Vogue fashion team as well as appearing in an exclusive selection of shows throughout the week.

Saw it at the Daul thread. I know that this is only a candid shot of her in Milan but could she be a pal of Daul? Love her wearing men's shoes. She must have long feet. And Daul's shoes are cool too. Very japanese-y and ninja-esque.

Hmm, I thought that the Missoni campaign was just Kinga and Iselin shot by Meisel. Is Alice perhaps on hold for the M by Missoni campaign with Aline Weber?

Either way, it seems as if there's a nice stack of options in her corner.
