Altuzarra F/W 2019.20 Paris

This collection is confused. I feel like this guy is confused in his vision.
Vivienne Westwood boots with Isabel Marant dresses.

I feel like all his career, he has waited for a brand to call him to be a creative director.

His mood board is showing. Perhaps the team didn't have the time needed to fully process all of the ideas they wanted to put forward, some of which are quite appealing. Lacks the finesse that should be second nature for him by now, he's not a newbie anymore.

He is a... lost cause and the people around him are not helpful like Melanie Huynh is not a good stylist enough to edit the looks and to give a direction to the whole collection.

I'm so confused, this looks like Ulla Johnson. I guess that's the way I feel about all his collections though, they always reek of someone else's aesthetic. All these years later I'm still left wondering what HIS signature identity is and why he is praised so much.

There is just so much going on, its confusing.

That he's been going for so long and continues to get the support he does, is baffling to me. I also struggle to string together even a sentence to describe what Altuzarra stands for.
It's just too much of everything, too much fabric, too many proportions, and the final result just looks sloppy and visually unappealing.
