Publishing heiress Amanda Hearst hosted a prelude to her Riverkeeper junior council summer benefit with a friends-only spring soirée at Goldbar with Paper market editor Luigi Tadini. Her childhood pals Alessandra Baker, Marissa Bregman, and Nick Raynes were on hand for the Dom Pérignon-sponsored party.
Environmentalist Amanda Hearst glowed in red at Riverkeeper’s annual Fishermen’s Ball at Pier Sixty. A member of the green group’s board of directors, she is currently in the midst of organizing their June 11 junior council dinner-dance, an annual event she began with Luigi Tadini. This year’s fundraiser will be particularly important as it will commemorate the four-hundred year anniversary of Henry Hudson’s voyage of what is now the Hudson River, which Riverkeeper vows to protect.
Socialite Amanda Hearst brought members of the Kennedy and Bush clans together for her Riverkeeper winter fundraiser. Amanda, as founder of the junior council of Riverkeeper and a director of the organization’s board, works with Bobby Kennedy’s father, the environmental group’s chief prosecuting attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Model Lauren Bush once posed with Amanda for the summer covers of Hamptons in 2004 and the duo recently went away with their families for a vacation on the island of Tortola.
The publishing heiress and her friend, Luigi Tadini, hosted the event at the Ralph Lauren boutique in Soho, with a percentage of the night’s purchases donated to Riverkeeper. The two of them styled all of the mannequins in the store for the occasion and, with other members of the group’s junior council, made gift picks to guide prospective buyers, including Serena Merriman and Vogue’s Serena Nikkhah. Ever the fashionista, Amanda’s Ralph Lauren winter selections for men were a striped long-sleeved rugby and the label’s flannel Whitefield shirt, while Luigi recommended sterling silver cufflinks

No, but I hear it's pretty infamous and that her mother was pissed about it because they disclosed her annual allowance for clothes, hair, make-up, vacations, etc...
I wonder if she was at that Prince Harry polo thing today...they would make a good match, no? Definitely one for the gossip columns...
Nina Garcia's fashion department now boasts two newly-created positions. Today, Marie Claire editor in chief Joanna Coles announced two key appointments. Taylor Tomasi, formerly accessories director at Teen Vogue, has been named style and accessories director, while Amanda Hearst has been named associate market director. Most recently an intern at Cosmopolitan Spain, Hearst has also worked at Town & Country, Harper's Bazaar, Gotham, Quest, and Hamptons. Both Hearst and Tomasi will begin working at Hearst on August 24. "We're thrilled to have both Taylor and Amanda join the Marie Claire fashion department," said Coles. "Their great sense of style, as well as their knowledge and experience in the fashion industry, will be an asset to the magazine."
