Angelina Jolie is a showstopper at the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 29) in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old actress kept it classic in a black Jenny Packham gown, House of Lavande jewels (bracelet and earrings), Platt Boutique rings, Gucci shoes, and Louis Vuitton bag.

I didn't expect this style but I kinda like it. She looks really hot, I love the jewels and her clutch. The dress on itself is a bit werid, the fabric and the draping are not the best but she pulls it off very easily.

A truly hideous dress. Kind of like a cheap version of that famous leather gown she wore. Love that she carried a Sofia Coppola x Louis Vuitton clutch, though.

Overall she looks stunning. I love the jewels but that dress is not a winner. What is that fabric. I want a close up of the clutch everyone is obsessing over.

in certain pictures the 'sheen' of the fabric seems toned down and i much prefer it....perhaps it looked better in person and the flash of the camera is making it shine too much....because it does look a bit too much like garbage bag material.

i don't love the draping around the chest but from the waist down it's quite lovely and flattering....and the silhouette is lovely too. the best part is the back. beautiful.

i think she pulls it off...because she's angelina...and this is kind of a nice throwback to a bit of the 'danger' from her earlier days...while still looking sophisticated and grown up...

It's not my favourite Angelina look, but I still think she looks drop-dead gorgeous! I kind of like the slightly "gothic" element to the look. The back is lovely and the jewelry is a nice addition too.
