Angelina Jolie

Random-I came across this pic of Jolene Blalock(star Trek), and there's a resemblance to Angelina(except Angie's much more beautiful)

LOVE the leopard jacket, jeans and red shoes. I think she looks stunning.

her gold jewelry at the globes looks very indian in color and style, and clasp at the back of the necklace.any info on it? i wonder if she picked it up there when filming "mighty heart"? of course, fred leighton and cartier etc all make some heavily indian based designs in their collections as well ;p in any case, it's really pretty. i really like the combo of gold jewelry with grey clothes. i have been expecting and waiting for her to wear gray, as it's a current hue, and would suit her, and a change from black haha. she looked lovely.

greydove- you're right...:flower:

Angelina Jolie lit up the red carpet at yesterday's Golden Globe Awards in Bochic jewelry that was worlds away from the collections worn by other leading ladies on this special evening.

Looking radiant in a charcoal grey St. John gown, she wore a vintage-style uncut diamond necklace, earrings and bangles set in 22kt yellow gold by Bochic from the D'Orazio & Associates showroom.

Inspired by Indian jewelry from centuries past, the pieces Jolie selected were crafted by Bochic artisans using skills passed down over generations. Each piece of hand made jewelry created by Bochic is said to have taken many hundreds of hours.
Bochic worked with top fashion stylist Jen Rade, who assisted Angelina in creating the perfect look for her Golden Globes appearance. Rade has collaborated closely with Jolie for three years, and she clearly had her recent visit to India firmly in mind when selecting pieces for one of Hollywood's biggest nights. During Angelina's India visit for shooting of Pearl Daniel film she had been repeatedly photographed draped in jamawar shawls, one of the oldest forms of Indian art woven on fabrics.

Sooooooooooo jealous that they're living in the French Quarter. If I didn't love her so much I'd hate her guts right now

wow, thanks so much, adorefaith!! really interesting to know. yeah i saw her in those shawls...i have one myself:)

wow that house is gorgeous! they're going to love it there. hope they don;t get bothered too much by paps.

Sorry if this observation has been made before, but do you all notice how Brad changes his hair color depending on what woman he's with??? Gwyneth, Jen, Angelina...its weird, like how dogs tend to look like their owners....HA!

Such a cute house. The outside is my favorite; I'd be out there at the table all day long!

I loved her jewelry at the Gloden Globes too. I have a real penchant for Indian gold (I have a lot of it myself) and I think it looked beautiful on her.

Ooooh, me too! I lived in New Orleans from the time I was six months old until I was eight or nine (my younger sister was born there) and I loved it. We lived in a really nice neighborhood just outside of the Quarter. I'm jealous too, but glad that they live there instead of Califormia. Seems somehow like it might suit the family better.
