Yea, the jeans were weird. I love the cropped pants you bought, absolutely awesome. Damn, I need the armwarmers. I've been wanting a pair of black arm warmers for a while, because I have a fairly plain black leather jacket, and it'd be a perfect way to spice it up. Were they expensive (rhitorical question, probably)?

That sounds quite sublime, you didn't get a chance to take any photos of the shop did you? I love the pieces you picked up, the texture of the virgin wool/ramie pieces look exquisite. (saw it in shopaholics) You're a lucky man.

Avantster: located in Hong Kong
I went back to the ann dem shop to see if they had the duffel bag.. but they dont have it, instead i found a small very plain backpack style bag that i really liked... it was strange cause i was thinking about how i wanted a plain black backpack.. i would have bought it but i thought i should think about it for at least a day... $3500HK or about 350Euro for a tiny cloth bag... but i do like it a lot.. if i get it i will post pictures...
oh and i looked at the sizes and all the stuff on the rack is either XS or S so quite different from antwerp

Faust, those armwarmers were about 150 euros
.. but they are incredibly soft and comfortable.... and unfortunately I didn't see any pigeons.

hmm. im going to belgia next week for the pukkelpop festival and was thinking of dropping by antwerp if i got the time but if all the small sizes are gone it would just be timetrashing.

They indeed carry it at L'Eclaireur (check the Rue Mahler store for the best Ann selection) And I also thought they have it at Maria Luisa.Izreal said:

Avanster: Yeah the Ann Dem store in Hong Kong is right beside the martin margiela store in Central... they both had their grand openings earlier this month

I attended the Hong Kong store launch (tiny store) and the pencil box/pencils was the gift given to patrons so i guess someone is selling theirs on eBay, Drexl.

I had been grumbling away to myself that I couldn't afford the new season Raf knits I wanted and then I found these beautiful end of sale bargains at Start, to cheer me up. Had to come and brag!
They were both £60 (more than 70% reduction) and they are both beautiful objects to behold in the flesh. I think the orange and grey knit shown here under a white jacket is the same one Baizilla has. Anyway it is a bizarrely complex cut and looks surprisingly nice with a white shirt underneath. For any other Demeulemeester-lovers in London, Start (on Rivington Street) still have another version of this in red and black stripes for £60 (size L).
They also have a gorgeous olive green moleskin blazer (no idea what that's doing in a SS collection) for £250 that I can't afford at the moment, but strongly reccomend.
