Ann Demeulemeester Shopping Thread

I wish I was near a Saks or Barneys (or any store) that carried Demeulemeester, mens or womens. There's a Saks in Portland but it has the worst inventory imaginable and the Barney's in Seattle stopped stocking Demeulemeester a few years ago. The closest place to buy Demeulemeester here is in Vancouver BC and they don't have the sales like the States.

I guess it's probably for the best considering that I've still managed to put myself into quite a bit of debt over the years just buying Ann Demeulemeester on trips and online. Thank goodness for internet shopping!

BTW: The boots I ordered ended up selling out before I got them (even though they remained online for a week afterward). I had to consul myself by buying the black and white floral shirt, pin dot pants, and reversible floral vest.

yes pucci she does, they are hard to come by though. stores should purchase more of size 35 since her 35 is really a 36.

I was hoping to order them from Antwerp over the phone, as I think it's unlikely I will find them in London.

They really do, pucci--about 1 size big, I would say. I'm normally a 36.5 and my size 36 boots are big on me.

maybe these will be different though, since they're not boots...will keep fingers crossed.

Just my luck.... it's just why I can never become a shoe girl, the only shoes I like either don't go down to my size or run big... ridiculous.


I still really, really want them, so if anyone tries on the lace boots please let me know how they run...

in my experience,her boots do run a size to size 1/2 big! i normally wear 44-44 1/2 in men's but the boots i had were so big i had to wear two pairs of socks with them. i don't know why she makes them bigger but it's got to be because she tends to like to elongate and widen the foot out,yes?

never placed an order from the boutique, but i would love to visit one day. pucci_mama what are you going to special order?

here are the shoes from saks. super comfortable as demeulemeester shoes usually are. i went down a 1/2 size in these and they fit perfectly, so she cut a bit smaller than usual this season. they really do remind of the roman gladiators shoe of choice.

Lucky, those truly are exquisite.. I have placed a special order for those shoes at the boutique in Antwerp, I was told I could have to wait until May to receive them, but they will be worth it as I tried them on in a department store here in 36 and they are so so beautiful.

Did you try wearing them with pants? I think this was my problem (and why I didn't like them on my foot). I tried them on with skinny jeans, which only accentuated the wide toe. I might need to try them on again.... seeing them on you, reminds me how much I love them <3
Maybe the trick is to pair these with skirts and either cropped or wide-leg pants.....
