For sure she can take great pictures but I'm surprised she's not on the Development board. Isn't it a bit risky to feature her right away on the mainboard with such an unexciting portfolio?

Well if you think about it she has a cosmetics contract, worldwide recognition, will probably make red-carpet appearances and soon will have two features in Italian Vogue so in some ways she is already a working model. Her development stage was antm. Also, I think the reason they put her antm pics in the portfolio is either 1) because she didn't test very well or 2) because they're leaving room for her Italian vogue features or other work she may have done.

^Not really. Development is for girls that indeed need development to make a name for themselves. The fact that she was in ANTM has made her a name so I imagine that many clients know her name or at least of her.

cross promotions? IMG is mentioned in ANTM, ANTM associated with the model at IMG. I dunno, makes sense to me.

That has nothing to do with why she would be put on the women's board or the development board.

The Development board is as the name says for development. Either because the girls are too young, need experience or just plainly need to make a name for themselves. Ann has already a name quite widely known.

I love Ann but I have to agree... when I look at those pictures the first thing that comes to mind is "gollum gollum" hopefully the actual spread will better. They're pretty good for outtakes.
