I honestly don't think there is anything remotely appealing about Ann, unfortunately. It's a bummer that even when ANTM finally went "high fashion" they ended up choosing someone so high fashion cliche, as opposed to someone who could genuinely model and actually look decent doing so.

Chelsea would have been a much better choice. I mean...her CoverGirl photo was breathtaking, to say the least.

^problem was Chelsea's age. Homegirl was 22 when ANTM filmed and she already had her go around New York or Milan when she was younger. She wouldn't have been the freshest face.

The thing I love about Ann is that ANTM has allowed her to be more outgoing and have more confidence. She's a work in progress!
 
Ann is my favorite ANTM contestant. Ever. I hope the best for her career, I think she can achieve many things.
And also, Chelsey has been trying to model since she was like 15, and now she's 23. If she really was such a plethora of potential we would see her dominating the runways and magazines way before joining ANTM. Just sayin'.
In my humble opinion, the only one close to Ann in talent was Jane.

lol! that was brutal! :lol: I'm sorry but I disagree with you! Ann is not that bad!! lol! she has alot of potential!! I don't think she is a "cliche", because i've never seen a face like hers before! she reminds me of Jamie Bochert, because they are so unique... maybe she isn't the prettiest girl! lol! but at least she is way more beautiful than Chelsey...

but you're right, Chelsey's CoverGirl photo was really beautiful, but to be honest, Chelsey doesn't look like that in person, it was heavily photoshopped! :innocent:
 
Chelsey looked dumb as rocks in her CoverGirl picture =/.
I just don't consider Chelsey the most photogenic girl of the world. Might be that Tyra didn't choose the best pictures in her film, but her on-show portfolio was much less than impressive. There's her gondola pic and her bullying, and then rest were all mediocre at best. She had a tendency to look very masculine and old. She sometimes resembled an hybrid of Pandora Boxx (RuPaul's Drag Race) and Helen Mirren... that's not a model in that mix =/.
But Ann is an OMV type of girl. Some love her, some don't.
 
Ann is coltish, fresh, and new. That blonde runner-up..not so much.
 
I also agree about Ann being fresh and Chelsey lacking that fresh new face vibe. Chelsey wants it a bit too much and it shows in her work which is never good for a new face
 
I could see how Ann would look right at home on the Ford or Supreme board and no one would bat an eyelash. Next to the mega girls @IMG Ann's look stands out somewhat. Hopefully that's a good thing for her career!

I have to agree. She looks more like what the general public believes a high fashion model would look like instead of how one actually should look. I never really got her praise on the show, she only had one facial expression in every shot and she hasn't seemed to developed.

the pictures by IMG have better styling and production than the ANTM ones, but she isn't any better.

ohh really?? :blink: and could you please tell me how does a high fashion model should look like?? because to me all the models look completely diferent! I didn't know that to make it in the industry you had to look exactly like everyone else! :wacko:

i agree, at least on the "only one expression" thing. i had hoped for some development...

^ March?!.....nooooo!!!! Although i am happy Ann's ed will be in the big spring issue. If Franca didnt deem it worthy she could have slipped it in this month and unloaded it. Inclusion in the March issue is even more visiblility for Miss Ward. I may lose my mind waiting though)

Maybe, but I was so blinded by my love I didn't care.
An Italian user in another forum I'm in said he bought the issue and he didn't see Ann in it. So, yeah... March it is =/.
But March is a better month to be in, right? And at least she'll be in an issue with a better cover... here's some hopin', at least.
Oh well, Febraury is a short month.

January took FOREVER to pass for me. Hopefully February will be quicker. I need to see her editorial. NOW NOW NOW
