Ann has started her career recently and considering how fresh she is in the game, her work prestanda in front of the camera is amazing. You can't expect her to have a multi-million beauty contract and seven blue chip covers in 6 months of her modeling career. The funny thing is how haters are willing to throw comments that are actually unrealistic and irrelevant to any given model and not just Ann. They expect her to do the imposible and if she doesn't, she's a huge fail!

^ um no. every time i see her on the first page of the forums i check to see if its actually work. and of course its not. i was defending purpledinosaur and i was not knocking ann at all. i was knocking ANTM and how all of their winners never even get a modeling career. work vs a career in the model industry is different.

and i never spoke about blue chips/beauty campaigns but if you'd like to go there- that will never happen because of ann? i can't say that for certain but I know for sure its because of antm.

if anyone in that whole season since season 1 were to win- I rooted for Ann. Its embarrassing to say I was on americas next top model. My BFF was on ANTM on season 2 and she is completely mortified and thats all anyone knows her from. It ruined her career. (i didn't root for her bc i knew it would hurt her career). A casting director in Paris said to her " you were on a model show? ha!" closed her book and said goodbye

So PerfectTonight, I am merely defending Ann's career ( and blaming if theree is no work its from antm)

Ok...well I have hope for Ann, they must be taking a different route with Ann than Jane. They're slowly building up Jane's career by booking lots of small little jobs including catalogue work. IMG are star makers so I won't question their strategies. I'm hoping this lack of work isn't because no one wants to work with her, surely they could get Ann's foot in the door somewhere. Hopefully the wait will be worth it and some big stuff will follow, and hopefully she'll do fashion week in September.

@ Parisfashion muse its too early to start seeing lots of work plus she's with IMG so am pretty sure her career won't be a flop. Even some of the past contestants are having great careers they may not be on the cover of vogue or in a Ralph Lauren ad but they are maing good money off their careers as models. Look at Fatima, Molly Sue, there's the Hispanic winner whose name I forget, Eugena washington etc

They were in black and white and by an entirely different photographer than the one that shot her editorial. That may be her Beauty In Vogue cover, but I don't think so. My assumption is that it's a mock up.

I was correct. That's not her Beauty in Vogue cover that Tyra has been showing. simplylovely posted a preview of it back it December. Here it is. Her Beauty in Vogue cover and ed was shot by Vincent Peters.

I am confused at your assertion. Those photos come directly from Vogue.It and are labeled, "photo by Vincent Peters, an exclusive preview of the cover shoot Beauty in Vogue May 2011" (link)

Why do yo think they're not from her Beauty in Vogue Ed when the Vogue.it site says they are?
