fashionjunkie i am sure you care really so lets all move on. i think it is so sad when you think how bubbly she was and how things could of been for her if her son had lived and she was able to care for both her children. wether it is drugs - depression only time will tell but it is just so sad it didnt work out for her and that she died so young x

As much as shocking and speculative- inviting this news is, let's keep the discussion withon tFS guidelines.

How old are you?...clearly not old enough to even grasp at the tought of what must be to loose someone you love,

more so a son.

if i lost my son i dont no how i would carry on - i think i would just fade away till i was with him again :heart::heart: she must of been devastated especially after just giving birth - she must of been in total shock

I think Fashionjunkie here does not really understand what Anastasia was saying. I agree with Anastasia 100%. I mother should always think of her child, but depression is an illness, just like cancer. Now if a new mother dies of cancer do you blame her for being self-centered? No. Clinical depression is an illness of mind, it is not the person's fault, quite the contrary.

I really think this thread should be deleted and I am going to request it now.

this is a very sad situation and we all have questions and suspicions, but if we could be respectful and remember the guidelines that would be really great.

thanks everyone

My thoughts exactly. And it goes without saying that the fate of her baby is cause for concern.

Life...can be happy, trips to the park, beautiful flowers, a kiss from somebody special, an unexpected surprise...life can be tragic, death of a loved one, losing a house, a family pet dying, betrayal..."that's life" could be anything...we can deal with happiness but it becomes a stigma when it's negative. We're allowed to have "just life" when everything is peachy and happy but we're not allowed to have "just life" when the situation isn't very nice..

We are all alive and every outcome that we experience is just life. So to just dismiss any positive or negative outcome of being alive as being something insignificant or something to 'overcome' is meaningless.

I don't think that Anna committed suicide..but I get the impression that she had too much on her mind to make rational decisions. So she slowly broke..everything and everybody broke her down.

Poor woman must have been feeling so heavy and weighed down in the last 5 months she was alive. I can't even bear to think of it. How did she manage to breathe...

i just want to say that daniel was probably the only true love she experienced. everyone else (it seems) just wanted to see what they could get from her
it's been said that losing a first child is especially very traumatic
i know that my mother says if she ever lost me or my brother she would take her own life too
anyway i just wanted to say that..to get a bit of perspective on what she was going through

RIP Anna

Her life, like her death, was very sad... it must have been especially unbearable these past few months... i hope the she may finally be at peace and her death is treated with respect

I hope for the best for her baby girl, poor thing has had such a tragic start to life

Its ironic that her wish to be the next Marilyn Monroe was realised in this sad way

i dont want to drag anything on...
but i must say one thing-

sofialuv, you are truly embarassing yourself by making a gross assumption...
you are upset because you think fashionjunkie is making a comment on something she knows nothing about.....but i suggest you make sure YOU know what you are talking about before you commit the very act you're up in arms about....
*none of us know what the other has gone through....this thread may touch on issues very personal to some of us, but it is not your place to make judgements about this.....dont judge people.....especially because you're asking that we not judge anna nicole....

No pills in her stomach...I wonder how long it takes for the capsules to dissolve?

Article tid-bits:
In Florida, officials provided some details about the scene in Ms. Smith’s hotel room when paramedics arrived. Chief Tiger said there was no evidence of a crime. And the Broward County medical examiner, Dr. Joshua Perper, said he had ruled out blows to her body or asphyxiation as possible causes of death.
He said that more tests would have to be done to establish why Ms. Smith died.
Dr. Perper said that she had apparently been sick for several days with flulike symptoms. But he said the autopsy had shown only “subtle findings” in her heart and gastrointestinal tract. He said she had a bruise on her back from a minor fall in the bathroom several days ago.
He said there were medications but no illegal ones in her room, and no pills in her stomach. He said the authorities had compiled a long list of prescription drugs she was taking.

I just checked this thread... it's great to see ppl so passionate about this topic. I usually don't like to get into the discussion of suicide so randomly but I must say I agree with FJ on this one... it would be very damaging for the baby to grow up without a mother, and especially knowing that her dear mother that she never got to know had committed suicide (if that's the case) only 5 months of her birth. It is easier for the child to inherit the guilt feelings when experiencing death, divorce, lost of love ones...

And in this case, the fate of the baby is at such a stake... with custody battle between two questionable fathers ( I am very worried for her), both seem to have ulterior motive. Who is going to care for the little baby?

May she RIP

:( Its so sad that she died, I feel so sorry she never had a happy life and just when it seemed to turn up for the better she dies :( I feel sad for the baby too ;_;

R I P

It's so sad. She should have been in rehab, or in a hospital, after her son died.

Personally, I think her life was taking a turn for the worse--the death of her son, being sued for her TrimSpa advertisements, battle over who the "real" dad of her baby is, and not to mention the endless media attention all combine to make a likely depressing life.

yes, but she seemed to be happy with her new daughter and husband...:(

0.0 i didnt know she was being sued for trimspa :S what happened?

She did seem relatively happy, but I suppose we'll never know...

"Anna Nicole Smith and the diet products company TrimSpa Inc. have been sued in a class-action lawsuit alleging their marketing of a weight loss pill is false or misleading.

Janet Luna and three people identified as her guardians were named in a lawsuit filed last Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging deceptive business practices and a violation of California's unfair competition law.

They are asking for unspecified damages, restitution and an injunction preventing Smith and New Jersey-based TrimSpa, maker of TrimSpa X32, from making claims that users of the pills can lose substantial amounts of weight."

-MSNBC, February 7, 2007: "Anna Nicole Smith, TrimSpa sued over diet ads"

Happy??? She was smiling....that's not necessarily a sign of true happiness.

I never really understood how Anna Nicole is to blame for it being misleading. Since when can you sue the spokesperson of a product? Can I sue Ronald McDonald if I wanted to? People are heartless.
