Cover 1/4

Naomi Campbell by Alasdair McLellan

Perfection, a very simple yet effective shot. I could do without the Pat McGrath headband, but it doesn't distract the image.

Wow! That's an amazing cover!

A beautiful shot that speaks to me of their strong relationship. Naomi's been working with Alaia since the late 80's, and decades later, they're still together. So much of fashion is superficial noise, but some things seem to last.

Fantastic cover. Some previews:

Sasha by Roe Etheridge

Manami Kinoshita by Harley Weir

Jazzelle Zanaughtti by Nick Knight

I LOVE the picture of Jazzelle Zanaughtti by Nick Knight.
It would be great if this was also a cover but I doubt it. They released it three days ago and today they released Naomi's cover (which is also phenomenal!) saying it was the first out of four covers. Plus, they got the masthead down low in Jazzelle's picture. I guess it's only a preview for the magazine. I'm looking forward to this anyway!

Bow down. What a stunning profile. Perfect.

Naomi looks stunning, this is really great. It's refreshing to see someone emote so well in front of the camera.

Beautiful Naomi. And that Nick Knight image is the best he's done in a while.

Through the time tunnel...

It all feels very dated

The Harley Weir is quite nice, but clearly not her best work. Another magazine has a lot of catching up to do.....

Quite like how Sasha's been done up.

Also-it'd be cool if the corset really took off for mainstream.

^I second that.

Looks like a nice issue, Sasha's story makes me curious and even if I'm no big fan of hers, Naomi looks really good on the two pictures.

I feel that if Craig McDean will do this type of 'girl standing in the street' type of shots, then he should stick to emotive girls like Vittoria. Love the styling as well!

Also-it'd be cool if the corset really took off for mainstream.

You think so? I don't know, based on historical recounts women themselves really loathed the corset. Of course it's terribly pleasing on the eye, but the main gripe was that it far too restricting an item to wear. So I find it almost comical because this very idea goes against our PC age of absolute freedom in every sense. I expect this revival will again be very brief and periodical, regardless of it being essentially deconstructed.

So far looks like an amazing issue ! Quite refreshing in a sea of Jenners/Hadids and co.
