just thought about stocking this label in my shop in NYC.
I have yet to try them on myself. love to hear how people are doing with them. hows the stretch out factor? fast, slow do they keep their shape well?

i just got mine a week ago, i've worn them 3 or 4 days and they're still SUPER TIGHT... im expecting them to loosen up though. we'll see. i'll let you know, their my favorite jeans right now. (i have the grey ones)

Are they genereally the size a little bigger? (like 26 = 27, 27 = 28 etc)? I have a size 26 CheapMondays who are a little too big, but they were a lot smaller than the April77 size 26 i tried.

they joeys dischord runs very big, i had to size down one size but they are still a bit big. and the wax effect have of course faded out a bit.

i worn them for like ½year now and i its pretty much the same fit when they were new.

i know for sure they have waxed cords in black and navy. i have the black ones. they could have more colours.

this is what i got so far, the waxed heat jacket and waxed cords from april 77, bad pic though so you cant see the 'effects'.

a guy at another board are selling directly through a april77 retailer so you can get pretty much what you want through him, let me know if you are intrested. i just order 2 pants and one jacket from him. the first pic is from the store.

wow i really like the joey overdrive and joey color drive!!!

i've never really thought about wearing skinny jeans myself, but these seem to fit really nicely. i really apreciate the masculinity in the way that they fit because they fit loosly around the waist and hips, but tight around the ankles which gives it a really cool effect.

i'm pretty sure any minute now more and more men will start wearing skinny jeans(after , even levis have a new line of super skinny "rocker" jeans)

In sweden its hard to find someone who isnt wearing skinny jeans.

Because they are so narrow, they stretch really nicely, at least for the pair I purchased...I really like them and they seem to have kept their shape so far, even in the waist.

Foxie, 28/7, is that like a 28 waistsz? If so, i would go with 28 or 27. Hard to say as i haven't tried APC, but according to Acne, Tsubi and Cheap Monday, i would sz down.

I'm also considering buying a pair of the Joey colordrive but am not sure about the fit. Are they really superskinny? I'm a 27 in pretty much every pair of jeans I own (Acne, Superfine, my J Brands are a little to big so I would actually be a 26 in them). Would you go with the 27?

I tried a pair on and it was tight everywhere but lose around the crotch area. The assistant gave it to me to try so she couldn't of given me a men's pair....

There is men's, and there is women's. No unisex, as far as i know

Velony, i would go with a 26. I'm a 25 in Acne, 25 in Sass & Bide, 26 in Cheap Monday and a 26 in Tsubi, and i'm actually a 24 in april 77.

they're cheap and you get a guitar pick...
i don't know though i have a few pairs and don't wear them that much...i dont like how the demin stretched around the waist/crotch.
but for shop owners - they seem to sell really well.
you get what you pay for.

I would advise against sizing down on most of their pants as the oversized waist is part of the design; they're intended to be worn on the hip and to sag like that. You'll note that the legs are quite slim on your regular size and sizing down will only result in an uncomfortable fit. Of course your mileage may vary...

april 77's sizing is ridiculous. however, of all the jeans i own, i probably wear them the most. once you find your correct size, you'll love them. for me, the 'correct size' is the one that wont suffocate your legs. so all of the joeys will run big in the waist unless your legs are literally sticks. heres a little size chart for those of you interested. hopefully it'll save some of you from a few month's worth of returning/exchanging/reselling ill-fitting pairs.

• dischord black - 28 (these are stupidly tight. i think i could actually do a 29)
• dischord navy - 27
• dischord grey - 27
• colordrive grey - 28 (mine are from last season. im not quite sure if they're still cut the same)
• colordrive black - 27
• hi standard - 28
• kennedy waxed grey - 26
• pixel entombed - 26

...i've probably made this even more confusing. i find it bizarre that some of you would say that the dischords run big. i assume none of you are referring to the black ones... which, like i said, seem to be cut about three sizes too small. (although its possible that mine were from a different batch or something... i've noticed some odd inconsistencies with april 77. not surprising, considering they're quite cheap and mass produced)...
