THe JW timberlands are made from very fine needlecord velvet, which if course is quite interesting and unusual, but even I as a JW fan, can't really see the price point making any snse. And Timberlands just don't appeal to me anyway.

You should see the tartan JW Ugg boots!
 
Ahh...I suspected that was velvet. I could see paying something in the 150 to 175 GBP range for that, but 410 is ridiculous.
 
I think it must be goretex lined nqth. THat does partly explain the expense
 
He made also TAS skate trainer this season with goretex. I am not so keen on neither of them, tho:-)

It does sound kind of cool from what Johnny says. Still ugly though.
