Arctic Monkeys

I agree it's a bit low but other good bands aren't even in the list. B)

Just bought tickets to go see them in December it was $40 USD which is way to much but worth it for them.

i hope they come to Argentina and dont charge much... Coldplay are charging 450 argentinian pesos in a stadium!!! the cheapest is 100.
(1 dollar = 3 pesos).

oh well... AM are worth it :D

They won Best Live Act at the Q Awards yesterday, but just sent a video acceptance speech. They're on the next cover though - I'm looking forward to an in-depth article that's not all about the album recording process!

The new issue's out on Wednesday (4 November), and here's what's in it...

Life after 'Humbug' - we chat to Arctic Monkeys, even though they're currently all in different countries.

THE ARCTIC MONKEYS have turned to BEYONCE and BRITNEY SPEARS for inspiration.
And he's not monkeying around.

In the run up to the band's arena tour later this month, frontman ALEX TURNER has shocked fans by revealing the group have been stocking up on ideas from the princesses of pop.

"I'd never even been to a gig in an arena," he admittted.

"But recently, knowing we've got this coming up I've been trying to dip my toe into that.

"So I've seen Britney Spears at The O2, I saw Kylie the other week, and we went to see Beyoncé in Japan - to try and see how it pans out.

"And so those are the only gigs in arenas I've ever been to, apart from like WWF Wrestling when I was six, but that doesn't really count."

The Sheffield singer told NME that the lads won't be copying moves from Beyonce or Britney but they were knocked out by Kylie's set.

"There's not gonna be circus performers or bass solos," he commented.

"Beyoncé had an all-girl band and one of them was doing these daft bass solos. No, there's not gonna be any horn sections.

"But you can't try and be all coy about it with something that big.

"I think to some degree you can't hold back. That's what I've learnt from those three anyway.

"Kylie was terrific, by the way."

And, after fans complained the band didn't play Mardy Bum at the Reading and Leeds festival, he decided he might take a leaf out of the Aussie singer's book and take requests.

"Kylie did a bit of that. People shouted and then she did a cappella. That's what I'm gonna do.

""I quite like that one from the newer breed. Is it called 'Slow'? It's quite low for her, she's not as high as she normally is.

"And she dropped into the Nick Cave one, the wild roses one. Medleys, as well. That's what you've got to consider with these big shows."

Bet she Looked Good on the Dance Floor too.

I saw them yesterday :bounce: , am still psyched

Alex Turner is god, Helders is a drumming hero, and O'malley and Cookie are very nice to look at

They are all in desperate need for a haircut though (imao)

I have pictures but taken from afar so they're not worth much

Anyways, I  them

They came in 2007. They played @ Luna Park, tickets were only like AR$100.
Did you go see them? it was a great show ^_^

Oh dear god it was amazing. I had the worst seats ever (Right at the back, behind a crazy drunk couple..) but it was still brilliant. 505 and If You Were There Beware were the best songs. Well they're my favorite anyway, but they were soo goooood. Ahhhh. Ahahaha.

I saw them last week and it was amazing. I don't understand what the fuzz is about alex' hair, I love his hair long!
