well i don't really like the new album, i think it's too much experimental, when i heard 'crying lightning' i thought 'wow, it's gonna be amazing album' but later i've just come to realize there's nothing cool about it
anyway i like 'dance little liar', 'secret door'

They are on the cover of NME this week, hopefully scans will turn up soon

i dont mind the new album though its certainly different from there previous ones .... However I give credit to bands that continuously change their sound on each album .... what the point in being a musician/band if you aren’t going to grow and change things up. Track 6 - Fire and The Thud -is my favourite the lyrics of " But if it’s true you’re gonna run away...Tell me where I’ll meet you there...' are just so simply beautiful. and cornerstone is great to!

yes, you're right but imo their change was simply too how to say strong hah i prefered them being more rock souls if i can say this way, eg 'i bet you look good on the dancefloor' or 'teddy picker'

^Thanks so much for the scans, I love that first pic, Alex looks adorable, I know alot of people dont like the longer hair but I absolutely love it, so hot!

Thanks DiamondSea, for coming through as always

I haven't listened to the album from start-to-finish enough to get a good feel for it, but I like it so far. Alex's songwriting is (as always) genius, and I'm pretty sure he could record a country album and I'd still want to buy it. The album does have a much more modern feel (versus their old classic rock style). It's interesting to contrast the songs on Humbug with their acoustic versions that are floating around. I think I actually prefer The Fire and the Thud with Alex singing it alone and acoustically like on Jonathan Ross, but the album version is amazing in a completely different way. Regardless, amazing album, they definitely did not disappoint.

i've been listening to the album nonstop since i got it tuesday, but it's taking forever to grow on me! anyone else?

I think their third album is good, but I still prefer Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not  It's actually one of my all-time favorite albums.
