With an increasing divide between 'cast' and 'creatives' in fashion, how much input can models have nowadays?
I was thinking about this issue when i saw the movie "Holy Motors". There's a scene that starts at a fashion shoot in Paris. eva mendes plays a model that just goes along with what's happening - even though the situation turns grotesque. interestingly enough, the scene was originally created in collaboration with the director and kate moss who had to drop out of filming.
perhaps moss's concept was that the really good models are able to take direction so well their own creative thoughts or even feelings rarely seep in...
