Why Are You Into Models?

I like models because their sheer beauty just inspires me - it makes me feel happy! Just like a beautiful work of art, a beautiful child, a beautiful flower or a beautiful cat makes me happy.

I hear that as well. It's also nice to have random knowledge...

Yeah people ask me that all the time too. It IS embarassing! I am interested in models because they are beautiful, and mysterious at the same time -- when you flip through a mag and see a model you don't know her life story, who she's dating, etc., like you do with celebrities -- they are innocent and bring the photos to life. I want to be them, in a way. They are representing a world which is edgy and cool and glamorous!

Because they're beautiful! Who doesn't love beautiful things? Beautiful people are like amazing landscapes... appreciate them for what they are. You'd never resent a sunset, would you?

Yer morgan I agree...they inspire me and don't make me feel bad about myself, we recently did a project on magazine advertisements and how they make you feel, and I was like the only one that said stuff like, "people are attracted to beautiful people..it's there own fault if they feel bad about themselves!" hehehee

I also agree about the not knowing about models...they are like unkown still and yet there is all of us. For example..When I first saw Natalia on her L'oreal Pure Zone add..I thought she was some teenager from australia, who was rather weird looking but I was really interested in what her lifes like and all..I would never of guessed she was 21(maybe 22 now) and was married with a kid..and a very successful model!

I want to be a model..but there is a big possibility that wont happen so I don't tell many people that. What can I tell people when they ask me that question, without sounding like an idiot?

I'd like to know why YOU guys like them too..this isn't just for me.

Same for me. I partly like Models because I want to be one myself, although I highly doubt that will ever happen. I like them because they seem to lead such exciting, different lives. Lives that are unreachable for most people.

I like them because they are these kind of superhumans. And superhumans have always interested me. I like Jedi and I like X-Men... pretty geeky, but it comes down to the same thing. They are something I am not.. something unreachable and something that makes me want to be them. I am a romantic in the oroginal meaning of the word, so I always like something that has nothing to do with my personal world... I am intruiged by things that seem impossible, but still stare me right in the face. That's how I fell in love with haute couture in the first place, after which my love for models followed.

I like them for many reasons. They are beautiful, and they are inspire. They DON'T make me feel beautiful or better about myself, but they give me something to dream about; being beautiful. I don't like the freakishly thin ones w/heads to big for their bodies though, I prefer the voluptuous, curvy women with GORGEOUS faces. They make me proud to be a woman.

I like models because they make me feel ugly and not normal. Haha.

But really, I love the way they are able to express their emotions through their face and body and are able to photograph well. I love the art of photography and models just do so well at the posing part. I also like them because they get to wear expensive clothes!

i like everyone else (almost) want to model but i've always loved fashion too and models are a big part of it. i think i'm just fascinated by all things fashion and i love that models get to be a part of that world.
