I still "observe" Labor Day to a certain extent ... I made sure I wasn't still carrying my straw bag on Labor Day. I kind of do a bit of a season switchover then, though I still wear open-toed shoes after LD. I don't wear white-white except for t-shirts, so that doesn't affect me ...

A couple other people brought up Labor Day in the context of fashion with me this year, so I know it's common for people to still be thinking about it ... perhaps because this is a warm climate and the weather may not change, though the "season" does ...

really? because the other day I was in class and my friends and I were debating about what colors are horrible together. Like bright yellow and bright purple . And then they asked: "and what about maroon and black?"
I said: "it's not bad" "What?? Are you kidding? That is the first rule: never black and maroon!!" they said. I felt so

i was serious bout black and maroon i also love yellow and purple together.. hightstreet was drowing in purple/yellow shopwindows a month ago..

look very moni, next time anyone tells you about fashion 'rules' educate your buddies, explain that fashion rules is a thing of the past, that we are liberated from 'what-goes-with-what' and ask them to browse this thread
