It's really interesting seeing street style from all over the world. One of the things I've noticed about Australian street style, is that the people photographed often look like they're really trying hard. The people in those first five pics are dressed horribly in my opinion - the remaining three guys aren't too bad though. In fact, the girl with the white bag isn't too bad either.

No worries mnis , I am avoiding studying for end of year exams I agree with you, the outfit would've looked better sans the broach thing and the suspenders. Grey seems to be really popular, despite the fact that summer is fast approaching.

Also I don't think the earlier pics posted from about a week ago fairly represent Aus Street Style, because I think most of those pics were taken at some scene/hipster/whatever party where people all try to out do each other by dressing 'uniquely' (i.e. strangely) and the photographer doesn't have a clue what to look for But still, I think we should have a balance in this thread, bad street style (entertainment) and good street style (inspiration), although at the moment I think the bad outweighs the good, but in time I hope that will change !

I agree,with you right now the bad outweighs the good. (sorry forgot to say before karma)
Hopefully we ll get to see more people with style Im all up for individual style, but sometimes some of these people look strange and weird.

omg, so many pictures to look at and absorb and analyse, lol. But all these pictures that have been posted over the last couple of days are much better than the bunch before so I suppose that was just a bad gig that was photographed, lol.

She looks really good. The girl in the last pic of #443 looks so cool. Reminds me a bit of Juliette Lewis when she's performing with her band. I really like the girl in #449 under the word MySpace in the grey dress. So much pink in #452. the girl in the top-right of #454 looks so dumpy! I don't know if it's the angle or the outfit. She looks quite cute though. The girl in #454 1st column, second row, in the jeans and pink dress, looks so last year. I'm over it already.

I think that all of the people look like they are trying too hard and have planned every aspect of their outfits..it doesnt look like natural style. Whatever if they are happy i guess thats what matters

I'm surprised by the lack of skank in the photos.
Because it's summer now i notice loads of girls out doing each-other on the fake tan, dotti play suits, big sunnies and push up bra's.

When i notice a fog of fake tan and impulse deodorant coming my way i run in the opposite direction.
