well as already said, i don't know if Amanda would exactly want the 'range' suitable for tampon campaigns good for the wallet maybe, but not good at all for a high fashion book (as you can see Priscilla's haven't included any of Kelsey's campaigns in her online book!).
we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

That's pretty much a low blow of you(work is work). Kelsey won that campaign over Amanda(who fell flat - like on many other shoots). Kelsey had two campaign wins, not to forget.

That pictures also showcases Kelsey's ability to put a story behind her expression while Amanda looks bored, hand on the hip pose.

The Alex Perry shot is just a lookbook, according to sassisamblog at least. I'm happy that the competition is sorta still going and Kelsey still always looks better (just look at the Priscillas test shots and Alex Perry lookbook).

I completely disagree. Amanda's cheekbones are too far back which makes it a lot harder for her to find good angles and severley hinders her range. It's also whats responsible for her blandness. Just look at that image for example.
Her body does look good, but her pose is so standard.

Yes, lets not forget, Kelsey had two campaign wins for both tampons and pseudo-perfume. Work is work yes, but if that's the case, then why should she even bother going to NY? She may as well stay in Australia where she'll get paid for commerical jobs like the ones she won. International high fashion doesn't pay for 95% of the models. And yep, that is indeed why some high fashion models do dabble in some catalogue work, and are all over Asian campaigns, etc. But it's certainly not something their agencies back in NY flaunt. So good for her for getting some $$, but if she's aiming for high fashion, it's probably good idea to pretend those two campaigns never existed.

As I already said, I think Kelsey looks far too actress-y in the Alex Perry shot. Amanda, a blank canvas, and it works well.

The one in the magazine is the same shot posted here, by the way, but reversed and with different cropping and slightly different coloring... which actually made them both look better, and gave more a sense of urgency to the image (can't really explain it).

Anyway, should be interesting to see how both do internationally.

I cant remember what episode it was in, but are we forgetting the melbourne go-sees? I think kelsey along with Kimberly were the only two that didnt get a "call back" for a fitting. Some of you guys are giving kelsey WAY to much credit...

Neither is my favourite(that spot is for Kathryn), but I do prefer Amanda's severe look as compared to Kelsey's overall look. I've seen Kelsey's tampon and "perfume" advertisment, and frankly, I'm not sure if it's the photography or what, but those 2 campaigns pretty much fell flat for me. Whenever I look at Kelsey, it's always the same morose face, which I think doesn't work in her favour. She may have a bubbly personality, which I like, but somehow, I'm not wowed by her look. Amanda may be giving a model pose and people may not like her cover, but I just love the "blankness' that she portrays in the magazine cover as opposed to Kelsey's arch of an eyebrow.

And I kind of do agree with what barbiestolemyDVN said that you guys are giving Kelsey too much credit. I hope it doesn't stem from the fact that you guys felt bad for her being called out wrongly. The thing is, Kelsey got booked for the campaigns because the photographers/directors had to include her. Same with the Bazaar shoot. If it were real life, on a first impressions basis, Kelsey could not possibly be landing the kind of castings that Amanda would probably go to, mainly because of her height restrictions. But with Bambi doing the international rounds, you never know. Although chances are, she'll do one season of shows with much hype, and then come the next season, disappears to do small shows, like Hannah Holman.

Quit with the Kelsey bashing. You're all giving Amanda too much credit. Her face is the same in every image, and her poses are really basic. Her bone structure isn't that great and apart from decent genetics, she bring nothing to the table.

You guys are taking this too seriously. Kelsey and Amanda are both good models, they both look great in that picture. You guys are getting too territorial about your favourites. All this "stop bashing Amanda. Kelsey sucks" and "stop bashing Kelsey. Amanda sucks" is totally pointless and kind of hypocritical. One girl can't seem to get work without getting attacked by the fans of the other girl.

Wow. I just watched the finale! What a ****-up! I think sarah did a great job handling such a huge mistake on live t.v.

I watch America's NTM, Britain's NTM, NZNTM, and Australia's NTM and I have to say that Australia's NTM blows the other shows out of the water. Australia's NTM has the most gorgeous girls, funniest judges (LOVE Alex Perry!!), and Sarah is the most gracious and genuine host. (I love Elle on Britain's NTM too. Tyra is by far the most ridiculous host. ) What I also love about Australia's NTM is their focus on healthy girls. They focus on exercise and keeping a model figure.

Anyway, I think this cycle of Australia's NTM was amazing in terms of the quality of girls. My top four from the start were 1. Kelsey, 2. Joanna, 3. Amanda, 4. Kathryn. I am happy that Amanda won but I think Kelsey is amazing too. Great cycle!

Anyways the Perry campaign is good. Kelsey shows consistency but maybe not as much variety (overall, nothing new) as I'd like. Amanda getting better at her expression but not improving as fast as I'd like and also needs to develop some range.

I think I actually said it before on here, or one of the other forums... Kelsey is perfect for a TV career! I think in movement is where she shines the most. Lively with some cute and quirky expressions. Piictures don't bring that across for me.

At the time Foxtel awarded her a consolation prize of $25,000 and a trip to New York to meet a renowned modelling agency, but now it is offering her a reward of a different kind. The pay TV network has just announced Martinovich as a new presenter for MTV.

In what will be her first presenting role, Martinovich will join MTV’s Darren McMullen, Ruby Rose and Erin McNaught at the upcoming ARIA awards. Billed as McMullen’s ‘sidekick’, the duo will be interviewing celebrity guests from a designated stage at the Opera House, while Rose and McNaught will roam the red carpet.

MTV has confirmed that this is a one-off gig and there are currently no plans for Martinovich to have a continuing role at the music channel. However there is always a chance the teen will follow in the footsteps of McNaught. The former Miss Australia winner caught the eye of MTV during a guest spot and soon landed a permanent presenting gig.

The ARIA awards are on November 7. The winner of Australia's Next Top Model Amanda Ware is currently in New York City.
