Elle Macpherson, Miranda Kerr, Megan Gale and Jennifer Hawkins lined up for vacant Australia's Next Top Model job
"FOUR women have emerged as replacements for Sarah Murdoch at Australia's Next Top Model.

The frontrunners include Elle Macpherson and Miranda

Hawko's management said she knocked back a Foxtel approach on Friday.

"Jen was approached last Friday and said no. She had to decline because the shooting schedule will tie her down too much, not freeing her up for her other commitments," manager Sean Anderson said.

And Gale is committed to Foxtel's Project Runway.

Macpherson has presented the show's British edition, while Murdoch is believed to be privately backing Miranda Kerr for the job.

Kerr's DJs contract is understood to be up midyear, which would allow her to connect with the program."

I had a feeling it would be between the ex supermod's of Australia and current ones,
I agree with the article, Megan tied with project runway, elle having done British I don't think she'd do Australia's then, Jen's out and then theres Miranda,
I mean, I thought Miranda origionally but then I thought she might turn it down because she seems busy, probably wants as much time between work to spend with baby Flynn,
So I guess we'll just wait and see!

Jennifer Hawkins has already done Make Me A Supermodel and she's not a fashion model, she's a pageant winner who booked a lot of commercial modelling jobs because of it. I'm still not sure why Megan Gale is so famous. Other than David Jones, has she ever done any notable modelling jobs? Is Elle Macpherson still doing the British version?

I'd love to see Miranda host, but I don't see it happening right now with her still getting a lot of international work, still being a VS angel and she just had a baby. She does love being in the Australian media though.

Yes Elle is already a host so I think that rules her out, she wouldn't do it again in a different country.
I don't think Miranda would do it with all her other commitments.
Megan Gale has done many things, she's worked modelling since she was young and has done tv and acting, has her own bikini label now etc.

She did not continue as she wasn't really into it... well, she is now signed with Chic Management!

wow!!! thanks for that. I kinda liked Rosie actually. and she is looking good now. is she really 179cm??? she didn't seem that tall on the show. she has a very beautiful, fragile face. she could get into acting...

Rosie was my favorite of everyone in the casting rounds. A simple, fresh beauty with much more raw potential than the girls that moved on. She looks a little bit like Marine Vacht in those B/W tests. I liked her better with the crazy curls, though.

I didnt think "she wasn't into it" on the casting, I think it's one of the cases that have too much potential to be on the show...

Yes I remember seeing shots of her for russh and then going on Chic's website!
I like what they did with her hair,
they cleaned her up a little and I think she looks great

I just watched the finale today and wished Liz had won, but Montana deserved it...she definatelly has the biggest potential of them all and she reminds me a bit of Constance J. and even Anja Rubik sometimes, although i still think she looks kinda plain, but rocks it at every photoshoot...my favorite is still Liz though, she reminds me of Sinead O'Conner(the young version) and she also has the appeal and grace of the 90s supermodels...a bit of Aneliese Seubert and Shalom Harlow and her Bazaar cover was the best!
Simone was quite good and she looked exactly like Lara Stone in the Dubai shoot.And I see somebody else also noticed that photoshoot in Dubai was copied by an Inez&Vinoodh editorial for French Vogue with Freja,Lara and some other girls, which was superb and the Australian version is no worse, very very welldone and the 3 girls posed so well...I see lots of inspirations from other shoots and from the american version of the show, but i guess that's normal.
I do not think any of the women spelled for the new host are any good IMO, the best choice would be Elle McPherson...I have no idea what the hell she is doing hosting the British version when she is australian! Maybe Anneliese Seubert should host it as she has been a real top model or maybe Emma Balfour. Miranda Kerr is too young for such a job...and Charlotte is like the australian version of Janise Dickinson, but a bit softerlol

There is another australian supermodel who did very well internationally who could be eventually a new host...i saw her a few times at events in the last cycle of ANTM, but she never took a part in any challenge or spoke to the girls(inlike other australian models), so i guess she just does not want to get involved...her name is Alyssia Sutherland and she is an amazing model!

^ Alyssia Sutherland would be a nice choice. I've watched the British ntm and I don't think Elle would be a good fit for Ausntm tbh. The British version is pretty horrible and I think Ausntm needs someone fresh(er).
