Granted, she didn't have a great walk, and she wasn't the best at working with her face, however her photo in week 4 was THE best of the lot. She should have gotten the ad, not Franky. But yes, Maddy would fit in well in the VS landscape-doing Pink for a few years and then maybe eventually moving up.

the show was a joke! i was so angry and disappointed! when ever they spoke about cassi they would always make sure they added something about tahnee in! and trying to put cassi down by saying she will be at home with her bf n spend all her money on him? like come on couldnt they think of anything else to talk about and pick on? stupid stupid exscuses to talk about and to try put cassi down! n i hate it was portrayed as " the beautiful school girl from perth and the BOGAN smoking girl from melbourne" ! wtf??

It's just disappointing that it has turned into a personality contest. So maybe Cassi wasn't a great role model and maybe she has had some issues in the past, but, as Cassi actually pointed out, hasn't she grown! The girl sitting on stage in the final last night was remarkably articulate for a 16 year old, let alone a 16 year old 'bogan'. And do we have to be reminded that Catherine McNeil calls herself the bogan from logan? Ahhh there is nothing wrong with not being from the city.

Professionalism you can learn. It doesn't come naturally to everyone, but it can be learnt. Kate Moss learnt it! What can't be learnt is that 'it factor' that Russel James was talking about. Cassi has that. I mean, she is an incredible model. She may be incredibly annoying at times, loud, etc but who really cares about that at the end of the day! To rob her of votes on the sole reason that 'she might not turn up to castings one day' is unfair and low (Charlotte, Johnathon and Sarah both did this, but not surprised at Sarah). When has Cassi never turned up to anything the show required her to do? She has grown a lot, they can see this, in fact if they were worried about whether or not she might have motivation or passion they should take a look at the film from the go-sees, Cassi's face lit up when she met the modelling agents, she was sweet, excited, interested, and eager to prove herself at each time.

I hope that Cassi doesn't lose her passion for it because of this. I can imagine it would be very discouraging to lose out on the public's vote when you had the greater majority of the judges' votes. But hopefully she sees that as a good thing and realises that the industry insiders love her to pieces and they think that she is going to work in the future, takes herself off to a different agent and starts kicking some ***... Haha.

Also Trista - Laura T killed it! When she came strutting out there in a bikini no less i was stunned, she is great on the runway, the best of the night, frankie was really quite bad. I hope that Laura gets booked out of it, she looked amazing.

the really should not let the public choose, because what do the general public know about the industry... nothing (except us!! haha)
they do not know what is going to work and what isn't... at the end it turned into a popularity contest.
commercial girls like Tahnee come along everyday.... a face like cassi doesn't!!! her face excites photographers, agencies, everyone...
but i hope that even though she didn't win, she has a passion for modeling and will continue, because i am sure that this morning she is getting signed with Priscilla's agency...

i been rooting for both Clare and Tahnee for the end, so after Clare got kicked off (HUUUUUGE mistake), naturally i rooted for Tahnee.

Cassi might be more industry standard, but it IS a popularity contest after all. it's looking for gorgeous girls (which Tahnee totally is), who can also be rolemodels.

looks at Demelza. she won, and because of her actions on the show, the show and network and producers got criticized. hell, even Vogue Australia pulled out of their contract with AusNTM because their editor was unhappy about the choice of a pretty girl with bad manners. if Cassi wouldn't have accumulated so much bad karma during the show she could have well won.

Tahnee won't really do high fashion. and i hope that Cassi won't either. i wanna see Clare struting it. i mean, out of the top 3, she's already the most successful. and Cassi can't walk for sh!t. i'd walk better with a cast on. she was still wobbling her head during the final runway walks. improvement? yes. tho, from where she started, save for breaking both legs, she could have only improved.

In a way though, I feel that Cassi will come out better, because she isn't going to be as tied to the show and the contracts. Cassi will be able to move on whereas Tahnee will be tied to the show, she'll have to do appearances, and she will have the Maybelline contract, but Cassi can do better (ie, a MAC campaign).

The whole public vote thing is bogus to me, because they wanted a role model and someone who was just like them. I wish I could have voted, and there are a lot of people like myself, who live outside of Australia but wish we could have voted. If we had voted, the outcome would have been different.

Back to Laura, though-getting eliminated early may have been the best thing for her, since many people won't even remember if she was or wasn't on the show-and you know how the ANTM stigma works.

^^i don't think the point of the show is to look for just gorgeous girls...because there are gorgeous girls all around...
the point of the show is to find a 'model' who can work and be successful...

^^^ the thing about Cassi's walk though is, like Claudia Navone said, it is 'funny' but a real signature thing. I loved what the Anna and Boy designers said at the casting 'like bambi', she does look like a fresh, slightly unsteady little girl when she walks, she has strength but also intense fragility that i really love. Her little wobble walk reminds me of Lara Stone, Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer - all girls who cannot walk in that trademark, Clare or Tahnee way (although Kate has gotten better over the years), but who have a real presence on the catwalk. You can't take your eyes off them. It's the same with Cassi, she's incredible to watch. Johnathon Pease summed it up you are so worried that she's going to fall over, and yet you can't look away. That can't be learnt, that's inherent.

Exactly. Cassi has presence-you can't look away. Of the three girls, she will work the most and she will be the most successful.

well, so is Clare's walk with her little skip. Cassi can't walk a straight line, she can't keep her bodyline straight. throughout the past weeks i haven't seen her walk STRAIGHT down the runway. she's crossing her legs too much, moving her body too much.

true, i can't take my eyes off Cassi. it's like a trainwreck, you can't look away.

and what is it with everyone here fapping over Cassi? ya'll's getting aggressive when someone's anti Cassie, yet are totally anti-everyone else and get defensive. what kinda biased is that?

Cassi is a good model but Clare's the full package. she's got an amazing look, body, she's professional, she can walk, even has a signature walk (cause that's SOOOOOO important).

Maddy is too awkward, tho i love that girl. she lacks grace. and her hairline would need to be raised for her to work properly. i mean, if they did that with Anchal on ANTM, why not with her? and a permanent, japanese hair straightening would have done her well too.

I'm so glad Tahnee won. Clare had been my favorite but Tahnee was my 2nd favorite. Tahnee looked amazing in the dress she had on too, just perfect. I was SO shocked that Alex Perry voted for Cassi though, I'm pretty convinced he really doesn't like her. I have to say though, all the judges, no matter who they voted for, said what I feel about both girls, that yes, Cassi has the model "look" plain and simple but that professionalism was definitely questionable. And yeah it's hard to judge that because she was on a show so she HAD to show up and things but I'd really like to know how it would go if she's out there on her own with no one to push her to go to the jobs etc. I thought Charlotte's comment to her was really rude though about spending the money on her bf and basically becoming nothing in life because of the way she was currently living, I don't think that had anything to do with the judging or competition and was just a cheap shot. And that for Tahnee she was still gorgeous and professional but didn't have the look as secured as Cassi. Did anyone notice how pissed off Mikarla seemed to be? She looked like she REALLY didn't want to be there and had been forced lol

Everyone has their favourites. Clare can do well, but to me Adele is way better than her. Clare was one of my favourites at the beginning but as time went on, I started to like her less and less due to her attitude, and also her face-I find it photographs very weirdly. Yes, she can do some runway, but I feel she would be best suited towards the Asian market. I'm not saying Cassi is perfect, I'm just saying that of the girls she was the best. You can improve your walk, you can improve your attitude-both of which she has honestly been working on. In case any of you were wondering, she is definitely smoking less-I read in an interview that she is down to 2-3 cigs a day.

Oh well...at least Cassi won't be tarnished with the ANTM label to an extent...I'm sure Claire and Cassi will do well without the show...probably better than Tahee...

You make a good point. Tahnee, in all honesty, needed the title more, because she is simply going to have more trouble getting work, when you compare her to the potential of Cassi, Clare, and Adele.
