can someone actually see Sophie or Kathryn as a winner? ok, i admit they are pretty and take good photos some times but c'mon, Australia's top model? (like Abbey or Cat or Nobis?)
..times like these i miss Alice Burdeu so freaking much!!!

they always pick photos according to their status with the producers.

fact is: Joanna and Kelsey both look very similar. even tho i would have loved them in the Finale, it would have been a really hard choice. they're not exactly Sasha and Gemma, but close imo. (or Ai and Bruna for that matter...)

in the end, they had to kick one out. must have been hard tho, since both did exceptionally well in photoshoots throughout.

i looked at all her photos and was gobsmacked at her consistency in the photos...

anyway, the team justified their reasons.

so awesome to see Analiese Suebert. I've always liked her. I love her voice too, and she seems to have an awesome, somewhat mischievious, personality.

i apologise if people haven't seen this episode, but I'm really pissed off that Kathryn got the boot.

her portfolio was so consistently good. not one bad photo...I know she had issues with her body proportions and her skin, but I can't stand Kelsey (who hopefully is going next week). she's beautiful, but she failed epically in this week's high fashion challenge and she's wayyyyyyy too short and doesn't have star quality like other short, successful models.

at this point, i'm guessing the final 3 are Amanda, Jessica and Sophie (who is improving slowly and surprising the judges).

i also think Amanda's high fashion photo was PRETTY INCREDIBLE.

Quit bashing Kelsey. The only good photo this week was Sophies. Kelsey's was okay and Amanda's was good close-up, otherwise horrible, Kathryn's was horrible and I can't even remember Jessica's, just that it was bad.

I canot believe K went home... Jess Photo was BAD in my eyes.
And whats the talking about her "bad" walk...Anyone remember Cassie's walk?
Elimination does seem really random to me... You can't send a girl home who delievers a really good shot, AND almost won the campaign...I'm so bummed :-( :-(


Edit: Is it just me, or does Kelsey have shorter hair at elimination?!

I agree cut copy. Kelsey was kind of exciting at the beginning now it's like NEXT! Same with Jess and her body is not up to model standards...

Kathryn has so much potential still...her personality reminds me of Miranda Kerr

And WOW Sophie was amazing! Never thought I would say that...that hair really did wonders...

Is it just me or Kelsey's look reminds me of Snejana sometimes? She's gaining major points from me just for that factor. I even go as far as wanting her to win the competition.

Amanda sometimes I look at her pictures and she reminds me of Tahnee in the face. I like Amanda lots more than Tahnee though. If Kelsey doesn't win this, I hope Amanda does. It seems they are grooming her to win by the looks of it.

Funny thing is, when I am writing this, I only remember four finalist out of the final five. I had the rewatch the last episode again and see, oh.. that weird looking one. I don't even remember her name, but when I see her she's just weird looking, and not in a good way like most weird looking fashion models are. I found Masha T. adorable but not this girl. Her face kinda looks like a fish, and it should make her stand out. But the fact that I couldn't remember her or her name says something.

I'm usually liking a kinda butchy look on models (Freja, Anja ) But I simply can't stand that girl-what's her name- with Barbie syndrome. Sure she looks good in those Armani, but her look in the photo is blank, I don't see what those judges are seeing.

I rather have Kathryn stayed instead of those two girls I can't even remember their names.

Looking forward to their trip to Japan. It'll be great if they can do stuff like Tokyo Kawaii TV or Tokyo Girls Collection (which have ended already ). Can I expect them to do modeling for Deco stuff? It's the in thing. And why do they always do the geisha/oiran mixed with anime photoshoot thing while in Japan? (from what I get from the preview. I hope they'll do more stuff) its not the only thing they can do in Japan! Get more creative. The preview of their photoshoot while in Japan reminds me of America's NTM cycle 3. The photoshoot concept kinda too predictable after already watched that cycle years before this season of AusNTM. So excited about if they gonna get some designers to guest... I'm hoping for the younger designers, like h.Naoto, for the challenges and for the panels, the veterans like Kawakubo or Watanabe Junya or Yamamoto Yoji.

Oh, while Joanna took some good pictures and walk rather fine. Her face just look horsey to me, so I'm glad about her elimination. Might not seem fair because she performs well most of the time, but... yeah.

So excited that Anneliese Seubert was a guest judge. But the walk she showed was a bit meh. Someone invite Snejana/Natasha Poly/Karlie/Vlada to one of these NTMs already! I hope they can get more recent famous Australian top models on the show, maybe like Abbey, Skye Stracke, Catherine McNeil, (even though I'm not a fan of them) or even Gemma Ward (I miss her so much ). Better if they can invite Myf so she can talk about how she's successful even though she was not accepted into AusNTM.

I don't think Kelsey was any better during that catwalk challenge. Her poses were horrible, she looked far too short/swamped by the clothes. Not to mention she's had two absolutely terrible photos in a row.

It's too bad they have so many commerical sponsers...it's the only reason Kelsey is still there (her photos suck, except when it comes to winning commercial campaigns).

I wanted Kathryn to win, despite her flaws, because she took consistantly good photos and had a pleasant personality. Now I'm not sure who I want to win.

I think Amanda has the full-package and would be the most logical choice for winner but I never thought of her as likeable when I watched the show on youtube. Jessica's not my cup of tea in the looks department and I think her performance has been lackluster but I think she has potential to be a model and she has a great personality so I wouldn't be bothered if she won. I actually like Sophie, but I don't think she'd transition well from Barbie-doll to fashion model so I'm not sure if she'd be the right choice for winner. I didn't mind Kelsey in the beginning but the constant praise from the fan community has put me right of her as she's been made out to have some sort of superstar potential and I just don't think she's that special for a petite model, plus she seemed to have a really snobby attitude towards the girls who weren't in the Jiet clique.
