Sophie: It was sad to see her leave, but I think it was the right decision. She really didn't have a great week and, in spite of the praise, her final photo was awkward-looking to me.

Kelsey: Her poses in the walk were horrible. However, I don't get all the dislike for her yacht photo. It looked expensive to me, and I thought it was the closest to actually belonging in an editorial or ad. In high fashion shoots, she does seem to look a lot Snejana.

Jessica: You'd think that a unique-looking girl like her would be more memorable, but I find that she really isn't. Her yacht photo wasn't very good at all and shows she can only take photos from certainly angles. However, I think the photo they chose for her was not her "best photo".

Sophie: Her challenge shoot looked plastic. The hair did not look good on her at all, yet she seems to think so? I liked her yacht shoot until it went to her face. To say that Kelsey's shoot looked blank doesn't seem right at all. If you look at Sophie's expression, it just looks bored and confused at the same time. Her pose was good, though, and I think filled the brief quite well.

Amanda: She didn't really stand out to me this episode. Her yacht photo was great from the waist and above, but some of the pose seemed a bit unnatural. It didn't really flatter her body, but that's not really her fault. I really like Amanda, but I don't really have much to say about her this time.

Kelsey is great, love the fact that she's short yet she stands out the most. Clients love her and she has the best walk out of the remaining girls.

I can completely agree with many who have said that her photo this week was made out to be far worse than it actually is. The body silhuette compliments the dress so well and I love the symmetry of her face. She looks expensive darn you Perry!

Out of the remaining girls, she's the one with the most potential and crossover appeal to do many different things!

I wanted Kathryn to win, despite her flaws, because she took consistantly good photos and had a pleasant personality.

Yes...! When it comes to their final six, the one I wanted to win was actually Kathryn. Too bad they booted her. She has the height, photogenic, and pleasant personality. As far as runway walk goes, you can train a model to walk. But you can't train a model to become taller or become photogenic.

I can completely agree with many who have said that her photo this week was made out to be far worse than it actually is.

In these NTM shows, I always found it weird that sometimes the girl who got praised so much by the model mentor and photographer actually got a bad looking picture on the panel. Kelsey got praised by her showing of emotion. It just seems like sometimes the judges wanted to kick someone good out of the competition, but needed a valid reason so they consistently pick a worse picture out of her. (I got this vibe from Tyra a lot ) As far as Kelsey's height goes, just make her an inch taller or two on her show cards. While her height will detriment her much when it comes to Haute Couture (imagine Galliano's big gowns on her), with RTW, if she has the right proportion and can still look tall and fit the clothes well, she still has a chance me thinks. I am certain that there are some models who are around her height walking in the shows anyway, their agency just lied a bit about their height. Ugh, I am just so bias towards her due to the Snejana factor.

Amanda while she has potential, she is just so inoffensive and un-memorable. She delivered some good pictures, but never one that wow-ed me. Her walk is pedestrian, not bad, but not memorable. Her physical has model potential, but at the same time ordinary and not memorable. I am not a fan or her, but I am not hating her either. Just neutral. I guess those are the things that make her the obvious winner out of those left though?

Jessica is still the standout now, followed by Kelsey. i don't get the hate. up until this photo, she brought it to shoots every time. i also say it's the producers trying to mingle. add tension, since she seemed so safe for the whole season.

Wow...not to refute any of your tastes, but by calling these shots hideous... can you please tell me what the hell you guys see in fashion magazines, because I'm sure all 5 of their photos were worthy of being published.

Honestly, I feel like some of you are comparing their photo standards to some abstract, non-existent magazine that you somehow conjured up in your minds.

Kathryn's shot was BEYOND gorgeous. And I am devastated that she has left. She was the only real genuine character that came into these types of shows.

It's pretty obvious by now who they want in the final 2. Kelsey because of her runway walk and Amanda because she's just Amanda and 'has all the right attributes'

Kathryn was gorgeous, and had a lovely personality. I think her proportions were problematic though, and something the show tried not to highlight otherwise it would have given them bad publicity.

so they had to find another way to get rid of her.

I'm sorry, but can you point out which ones of us are calling their photos hideous? I've read all the posts commenting on ep 8, but none that called the photos hideous (unless I missed some posts). Probably some critiques here and there, and those critiques are normal, no? Everyone can form their own opinion of what's their preferences in a picture are. I think you are exaggerating and overreacting to some comments a little bit. Chill.

Just to prove my point that Kelsey sometimes look like Snejana, I've decided to took some screenshots. I think she kinda looks like Snejana in these screenshots. If being a shorty is the only thing that detriments her from winning, please feed her moar milk while she still young. Its still possible to get taller at her age, maybe not much, but still... Sorry, it was my Snejana stan self being bias talking.

I still love Jessica. She is my winner, even though I am sure it will be Amanda or Kelsey in the end. Sophie: no idea why she has come so far. Amanda is so bland it's not even funny and Kelsey looks very commercial to me.

Kelsey may be a little short, but I don't think she's so short that she won't be able to work in the industry. I'm pretty sure she's taller than some of the shorter models such as Sasha and Barbara Palvin. She has long legs for her height so she doesn't look too short in single shots. Group shots...she does seem a bit short, but I don't think it should impede her from having a career.

I agree. Although short, her body is well proportioned and I think that her overall look is strong enough to make up for her height. Not in everything (she may be turned down for runway), but I think she's already shown that she's likely to succeed commercially. I wouldn't entirely rule out high fashion because there is a definite It factor working for her. I can see Kelsey doing well post-show.

This is definitely the key combination for looking taller and having a flattering fit for sample sizes. She has also(like Sasha, Amanda Nordgaard, Bambi et.c.) shown that 5'8 or shorter girls can make it work on the runway and cross over to the market outside the commercial one. She just has it-factor which many of the clients have already confirmed.
