so they did their "twist"!!!! i'm kinda happy they did, it evens out the playing field for the finale next week.

btw, the Harper's fashion editor came across as a total b*tch. didn't like her one bit!

Although she was kind've a b*tch, she did give the most realistic feedback they've had so far.

I wish there was a group photo like last year.

That was so intense, I was practically watching with my nose at the computer screen. I'm not too keen on the decision, because I think the better models were made quite clear this week. The following words are whited out:

I was impressed by Sophie last week, but this week just really disappointed me. I don't think she did too well and I think that she really wasn't on the same bar as Kelsey this time. I really thought she'd get eliminated this time; when the time came, she couldn't do the job.
Amanda was good this week. She was great on the catwalk and showed major improvement in the photoshoot. However, I think her lack of performance on the first day of the shoot was a much bigger problem than the judging panel made it out to be. You can't just be good on certain days. However, she did come through nicely at the end, which is good.
Kelsey did great. She didn't appear short on the runway, though her height is an issue when it comes to fittings. I think she did the best by far in the photoshoot. She was consistent, creative, and high fashion. Very impressive this week.

Sophie just doesn't fit well into the high fashion world for me. Kelsey is so impressive in photos, but at the fitting for HB her lack of height became really apparent. Amanda is stunning and has the body but she is looks like she's got stage fright when you stick her in front of a camera. I'm not sure who I want to win, but I hope it's not Sophie.

Last year there was 7 judges (I think) and they're votes counted for 10% each and then the public vote was worth 30% (the winnner doesn't get the whole 30 percent, it's split based on the votes). So I think it will be the same sort of stucture this year.

this is so stupid. I have heard the director of Harper's Bazaar is furious because she thought she was going have a word in the final decision. What's next? Girls elimination decided by viewers week after week?

^Claudia? Well if the public choose the wrong one for the cover and editorial ie. Sophie I wouldn't be surprised if thats it for AusNTM and HB. If the judges at least had some say then I guess it would be a different story.

I agree with Sarah that Sophie has a very 90s - early 00's look. It can of course, all go very wrong when you put her in a swimsuit, but I think it's still a look that could do high fashion with the right styling (eg. that yacht shoot, and in the celine dress @ Harpers.

I want Amanda to win, she's incredible on the runway, but I am worried that even though she is extremely beautiful in front of the camera, she lacks some range.

Kelsey is a no for me. Her face isn't spectacular enough to get past the height issue, IMO at least.

Ergh so it is 100% to public. Bad decision, and the majority of the public isn't particularly bright...I saw Kelsey in the city the other week, she is pretty but like Bianca noted not enough considering her height.

as pretty as Kelsey is, i agree, it's just not enough
(but then there's Bambi w/ her height issues and dreadful walk so who knows... at least Kelsey can walk...)

I agree, Kelsey is beautiful, but she isn't spectacularly beautiful ala Kate Moss to overcome her height restrictions.

I think this public vote has pretty much put Sophie out of the running. She's bogan and has been getting a lot of abuse on the facebook page. I think Amanda is too bland and Kelsey is quite charming, so I think Kelsey will win.

Kelsey is far from ugly. She looks too much like Snejana to ever even be considered ugly.

As long as Sophie doesn't win I'm cool, although I'd prefer Amanda to win over Kelsey. I think that Amanda will soon enough make up for what she lacks now whereas Kelsey I don't think will grow much beyond what she has now in the future.
