I find this whole label so self indulgent. I agree, it is better than its past collections, its certainly less trashy.

But I am increasingly finding that when looking at the collections, I am hearing the faint voice of Kimora saying "Everyone, pay attention to meeeeeee..."

Just by looking at the celebs who attended the show is a big clue of the degree of terrible-ness of Baby Phat:

JoJo, Missy Elliott, Paula Abdul, Lil Kim, Tommy Hilfiger, Vivicia A Fox....

there are definitely must have pieces in this collection and i think it's a great mizrahi-for-target mix of high and low. i continue to be impressed by some of that fur and unsatisfied by some of the denim.

how many breast lifts do you think kimora has had?

I think it's too trendy and trashy, but it looks less so this season.
I'm intrigued as to what J-Lo's collection is gonna look like- it think her stuff falls into the same category. Maybe I'm just more of a classic/elegant/simple person.

PS. Not liking it ... agree ... it's "less worst" but I dont think the designs will drift enough to get raving reviews from this site at least ...
