I could be wrong but....no. Most uni's accept international country's standards for completing secondary education. ie. American uni's accept A-levels, baccalaureate, Abitur, etc. and vice versa. Any university website should give information on this

of course you don't need the Bac' (Bac stands for Baccalauréat, like Abi stands for Abitur)....
But I know that when french are going to US or anglo-saxon countries we need to do a language test, before....
something like the TOEFL.... Maybe you should do some tests, too, non?
Do you speak french ?
Why do you wanna come to Paris' University ???
Now that my bf is going to an american university (best international top university ranking....) I just don't understand why americans come in France....
Is it for just a year - to improve your french and visit France? or a complete Licence ? or a complete Master ? or is it for PhD?

According to me, I think that you need an equivalence especially for the language because all classes are in french (except english class lol)
Me, i passed the TOEFL test in order to go to an american college.

both my mother (colombian) and my boyfriend (indonesian) had to take the toefl before going to university in the us and they said it was UNBELIEVABLY easy. granted, both of them went to high schools and middle schools were classes are taught in english but it shouldnt be much of a problem as long as you can speak english relatively well
