To me this collection feels so current and wearable (not counting the hemlines). It's uncomplicated and has a clear formula. All the black, the zippers, the tightness, the blazers, the 80s references... it's a very distilled and upgraded version of one of the more dominant strands of modern street style. I'm happy to see a collection like this because I don't think there really is an equivalent out there filling this significant niche. However, I find the so-called "rock 'n' roll" allusions embarrassing. At this point it's all a reinvention of a reinvention of the Rolling Stones and it really highlights the ages of the people promoting these clothes.
