Beauty Products We Regret Buying

Diorshow mascara. It's supposed to be great, but for some reason on me it was runny and flaky. Actually it was probably one of the worst mascara's I've ever used....

Rimmel and Bourjouis Paris eyeliners...both were extremely nomadic
DHC olive oil three-step system...the only products that made my face itchy and red and broke out, bleurgh! But I know people who rave about it...
Clinique moisture surge...surge what ?? It just turned into gluelike crumbs on my face, made my face dry.
Neutrogena cleansing bar...it was long ago but I recall it was not good

Jason Lavender conditioner. It had great ratings on makeupalley but the texture was like runny milk and it didn't condition my hair at all! Even when I left it on for like 10 minutes.

mario badescu enzyeme cleansing gel. It left a weird film on my face and made me break out really bad after a week or 2. I really wanted to like it but it just didn't work for me.
There are tons of products that I've wasted money on but those are the 2 most recent.

second that. you get lovely lashes the first time you use it. but then it dries up sooooo fast!! like in one week, no kidding!

So many products, I can't even keep track. I wanted to love Origins products (Checks and Balances face wash and A Perfect World moisturizer, notably), but they just didn't mesh with the chemistry of my skin. Furthermore, most drugstore makeup I regret buying.

Revlon Colorstay foundation: My skin was clear, with only a pimple every month or so on my forehead. I started using this foundation and broke out like crazy on my cheeks. Now I have acne scars :(

MAC liquid foundation was too heavy for me and made my skin dry.
Rimmel Volume Flash mascara was clumpy and I had to throw it away.

No 7 Hydraboost Mask was a BIG mistake for my skin.
Egyptian Magic haven't really done anything for my skin or scars. I have used up a jar of it so it's not like I haven't given it a fair chance.
Chanel Inimitable Mascara is not worth the price. I know cheaper mascaras who does a better job with my lashes.
Not loving md formulations face and body scrub. My skin is waaay to sensitive for that one.

Anything from Clinique kills my skin. I can't use a lot of 'natural' lotions or day creams either, my skin reacts so bad when I do it. Especially whenever I try Lushs daycreams.I need the chemicals, the dermalogicas of the world:D.

Lush soap cleanser... I can't remember exactly what it was called but it dried my skin out to the point of flaking

is it the black one? it dries your skin out like crazy, but I love it because it removes all your make up immediately.. I just make it a habit to hydrate my skin right after.

Caudalie's Beauty Elixir. It's supposed to be wonderful but it just made my skin break out :( I did love the smell though

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess (waterproof)

I have really long but very fine-sparse lashes. I was obviously going for volume when I bought this, and this won't give me volume, it just lenghtens them, which only makes it more obvious that I have gaps between eyelashes. Oh, and on top of it all its an absolute PAIN to wash off.

Chanel brushes... bought a bunch of it but ended throwing them all out.
La Prairie cleanser... it was really drying

Nearly anything by Maybelline, but I'm always ready to be proved wrong.

^Lately I have been very into their products, mainly for nail polishes and lip glosses, though, and mascaras! I have five of them from Maybelline, they are all pretty good, except the Falsies one, don`t like the brush.

Instead I regret buying Fit Me foundation, luckily it is reasonably priced, because I really can`t use it. It leaves weird waxy surface, and still doesn`t cover well. In addition, it gathers under eyes and to the side of the nose etc, and is very greasy. None of their foundations have ever been good and I have tried many...

Yep I have read/heard a lot of bad reviews from Fit Me foundation.

Maybelline BrowDrama (just bad bad bad)
L'oreal primer (it did bad things to my skin)
Rimme BB cream

Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Lip Color - It looks gorgeous when I first apply it but when it dries it looks horrible. Really a shame because it looks so perfect at first and the colours are stunning.
Collection 2000 Fast Stroke Eyeliner - It scoped and was crumbly
Constance Carrol Gentle Eye Make Up Removber- It scoped and it was really hard to get the eyemakeup of.
MAC lipliners in Dervish and In synch. They were so dry.

I've been into makeup/skincare for years and unfortunately there is a group of products I regret buying...

Makeup

Bourjois Volume Clubbing Black Jack & Rouge Bunny Rouge Swift Length mascaras - both had super dry formula and did nothing with my lashes
Armani Face Fabric Foundation - definitely the worst foundation I've ever had
Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin - chalky complexion in a bottle
Benefit Dr. Feelgood - I just can't describe how terrible my face looked after I've applied it...
YSL Ombres 5 Lumieres Eyeshadow Palette - very poor pigmentation

Skincare - products I've used regularly for a couple of weeks/months and haven't noticed any difference/improvement:

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex
Dr Sebagh Deep Exfoliating Mask
Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream
Estee Lauder Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme for Combination Skin
Avene Cleanance K Face Cream

I regret that I didn't read the ingredients list before purchasing these products... I'm allergic to SLS, beeswax and liquid petroleum and all of these contain at least one of these ingredients. They've caused an allergic reaction and it took weeks for my skin to recover!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel
Chanel Hydra Beauty Gel Creme (the amount of alcohol and fragrance in this moisturizer is crazy!)
Egyptian Magic Cream
Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
Avene Cold Cream Hand Cream
Johnson's and Johnson's Baby Oil
NYX Cream Blush

Bourjois Volume Clubbing Black Jack & Rouge Bunny Rouge Swift Length mascaras - both had super dry formula and did nothing with my lashes
Yes! I feel the exact same about the Bourjois one. One of the very few products I regret buying, and the only one I did regret for being awfully dry - the others I regretted were bad foundation colour matches and eyeshadows in too similar tones.
