Behnaz Sarafpour for Target

I was just in my boss' office, and he kept staring at the bracelet (I think because it makes noise) and he finally asked me what it was. So I told him it had a NYC theme, and showed him the different charms, and he said, "well in that case, it's kind of cute." That is coming from a 60 year old lawyer, too funny.

:lol: This bracelet is a hot item! Everyone loves it :D hehe

Very cute story, thepeppers!

I can't wait to get mine in the mail... should be sometimes this week. The bracelet has become such a hot commodity, it's adorable!

I wandered into my Target and found the black velvet babydoll dress with ivory trim, last Behnaz dress in the store, and a size too small, but I bought it anyway, because I need a new Christmas party dress and it's so cute. Then I spent the last ten days with pertussis and a killer sore throat and lost 7lbs and it fits perfectly. I was worried about it looking silly or juvenile, since I'm 28 and busty, but it's surprisingly classy and sweet looking. I don't know how tall the model on the Target website is though, because it looks like a mini on her, and comes right above my knees, and I'm not short ^_^ I love the feel of the velvet, and the rich sheen. It doesn't look like a $40 dress at all.

I also liked a white button down shirt in the collection, but passed on it because it was a little *too* sheer. I don't want to have to wear a camisole under it every time.

so, how does this fit go international?

she was raised in america....

I love her work. Not only is she a native Philadelphian but she's so completely talented. She really knows how to do function and creativity simultaneously. I'm a fan of clean lines and focused vision. All of her stuff is wearable. I like her stuff at Target but alas I'm a bit of a snob LOL. I want her clothes to be outrageously expensive so that when I become rich I can feel like I've achieved something once I own one of her gorgeous dresses. It won't feel the same if I know I could easily have access to her at Target. LOL.

i went to my local target and all the behnaz items were 50% off. i picked up the pyramidesque black velvet and poly skirt. i wasnt expecting to like it, but i tried it on and lo and behold it had a wonderful A line shape to it.

i wonder what target is going to fill the go international space with...possibly bathing suits.

behnaz items are now 50 and 60% off on the website. pretty good deal with free shipping and ten percent off.

also the paul & joe items have disapeared.

in the new issue of glamour with jennifer connoly on the cover actress mandy moore talks about how much she loves the behnaz and paul and joe items.
