Benefit Makeup

Caryss, I have the Dandelion blush and it has very minimal pigment. But it gives a lovely sheer flush. Also be warned that it has a bit of "sparkle", so if you're not into that sort of thing I would avoid it.

ah! that's the thing, i'm not really a sparkle kind of person, especially for daytime.. hmm, i'm stuck now! can you recommend anything similar but matte, Belowen? thanks for letting me know :)

It's nothing too obvious though, I think it just adds to the highlighted sort of effect.

If you're after a powder blush, my favourite is the Chanel Irreelle Blush in Tea Rose. If you're after a liquid blush I would suggest the Rose De Rose Liquid Blush by By Terry but thinking about it now it might actually have a bit of sparkle... Hmm. Maybe try the Chanel if you can find it - in fact all Chanel blushes are basically amazing IMO.

Is there anything that benefit is best @? Something that other brands just cant compare to?

Please let me know your favorites?

My favourites ...

Benetint (purely as a lip stain, as a cheek stain it was blotchy & uneven - the smell is divine though - roses)
Erase Paste (my HG concealer)
Dandelion (a lightly pigmented, shimmery blush)

I hated Georgia & their cream eyeshadows dry up really fast.

the Dandelion comes in different colours? In terms of blush I'm looking for something peachy

ahhh thank you! i do remember fawning over a few chanel blushes actually, they do look lovely. thanks again :)

I bought a mini Boi-ing/Eye Bright duo at Sephora for $8 and I love LOVE the Eye Bright!

Does anyone's High Beam get really thick and gloopy? I've used mine maybe only 3 times and am careful to tightly seal the bottle after every use but its texture has gotten really thick and I'm wondering if it's still even good to use!

No, if you're after peach blush from Benefit you would be best getting Georgia not Dandelion... Though personally I don't like Georgia (too orange on me)

okay I'll take a look... I'm just looking for a creamy peachy blush but still not orange or anything too dark that will look like bronzer

^ I had it trialled on me in-store, I found it too shimmery for me. My skin is way too pale to wear it anyway. Although my friend looked great in it, she was really tanned when they tried it on her ^_^

Poor us  Well, MAC ought to have something similar in matte or sheertone...

Erase Paste is a make up staple for me. So good! Also a big fan of Bad Girl Waterproof eyeliner, Dallas bronzer and the Cream eyeshadow in Carte Blanche. What does anyone think of the smoky eyes kit?

I will see the smokey eyes kit, the cream eyeshadow is great, I use the brown one.

I've really been wanting to try High Beam for a while now. Has anybody here tried it, and if so what did you think? My main concern is it looking really shiny or glittery in the daytime

^ I use High Beam on a regular basis, and am so/so about it. I know I want a highlighter, so I've just been scared to try something new. High Beam is NOT glittery, but there is a bit of shimmer to the pink in the light... that's what makes it a good highlighter, though. It's easy to go overboard, but you do have to be a bit generous in your application, as well.

Not at all... are you storing it in a place that's around room temperature?

cany anyone tell me if the 'some kinda gorgeous' foundation is any good? and does it only come in the shade? does it not come in light/medium/dark etc? the website isn't loading for me at the moment! grrrr
thanks for any help :flower:
