Best Eye Makeup Remover

The best one is NARS. Its a little pricey. But it lasts for a while. It gets make up off in one swipe. No joke. The first time I used it was with my friend at Sephora after a lot of eyeshadow. Alot. Also, its not sticky at all. I actually used to bring it in the car with me for last minute touch ups. And the grease is gone easily with a tissue. Everyone should buy this. I love it!!

At the moment I use Loreal cleansing face and eyes lotion. Maybe I'll try Aveda soon. I heard also from my friend that it's good.

Neutrogena's make-up removing wipes are great! They even remove water proof mascara really easy and they aren't harsh on your skin and eyes like some wipes are! They don't leave my eyes red and sore like some other ones have in the past! :D

ive been using Simple skincare's conditioning eye makeup remover. its great cause its really gentle, doesnt irritate the eyes, and it definately removes every little trace of makeup!

I really dig the Almay remover pads. I use the moisturizing ones at the end of the day to get it all off. And I use the non-oily ones for touch-ups during the daytime if I need to. The moisturizing ones are really oily, but it's not hard to get it off with a tad of soap.

I like Evian Affinity Eye Make-Up Remover and Eyelash Fortifier. It's a new product that I found in a supermarket in France, so I don't know how widely available it is, but it's worked really well for me. You have to shake up the bottle first because one part is an oil, so you have to combine the two. All the eyemake up comes off really cleanly, especially the stuff that's really tough to get off. It's also good if you make a mistake on your eye make-up, or smudge some mascara. It also doesn't sting, or have a strong scent, or alcohol quality like others I've tried. I'm not sure how the eyelash fortifier works, but it says "It nourishes and strengthens the eyelashes thanks to its moisturising and restructuring agents".

<These are my faves- they are called 'Swisspers Eye Make Up Remover Pads'. They are inexpensive, practical and do the job well!

neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover is so money! and i've tried alllll the expensive brand name ones before too, but this one is so effective and gentle. you simply wipe and everything just loosens up and comes off, and you can be extremely delicate too. the liquid has an interesting feel to it - feels oily but it is OIL-FREE. it's excellent and highly recommended...and so cost effective too!

For everyone that has said they use Baby Oil for eye makeup removal, that's not so great for your eyes. Any petroleum based product can clog your tear ducts or just leave an oily film on your eye. The skin around your eyes is very sensitive, so it requires gentler care than other areas of your face normally would. Baby oil can melt the rust of a penny overnight so imagine what it's doing to your skin! Oils do remove makeup faster though, which is probably why so many resort to using baby oil in the first place. First I would recommend using an "oily" makeup remover like Clinique Take The Day Off & follow it with a non oil makeup remover on the remainder of your face to pick up any traces of oil the first one may have left behind. Also be patient, allow the solution to soak in a cotton bud then place over your eye for about 10 secs...your giving the oil time to break up the wax in your mascara etc. Then begin gently scrubbing.

i guess it really depends on what kind of mascara you are using, like is it waterproof or not... in general, my dove pink bar soap does the trick for normal mascara, but for waterproof, I have NO idea.... :ninja:

I had a dior makeup remover once and it would take off eyeshadow/liner stuff perfectly, but when it came to waterproof mascara, it wouldn't do the trick.

Vaseline works well for me but I'm hoping to get something a little bit better. I'm going to try the Almay pads since so many people seem to be recommending them!
