But it's funny, she doesn't look brazilian to me. Well, I don't know if red hair is typical brazilian, actually I believe it's not. In an interview on ftv she said her family is from germany but her dad is from brazilia, that may be the answer to that hair-question ...

Well, as a brasileira I prefer Adriana, Ana Paula, Raica, and few more that aren't that well known. I don't look like Gisele, although she is beautiful I prefer the ones who look like me lol.

ANd when you say Indian do you mean the native indians who already lived there or indians from the indian subcontinent? I heard (acually on tFS!) that the Phillipines is the 'Brazil of the east'. Which ethnic backgrounds?

Yes there are a lot of different ethnic backgrounds in Brasil. My country is extremely diverse, the average brasilian will at least have Portuguese, African, and Indigenous blood running through them. I know very little brasilians who have "Spanish" backgrounds-- I am sure there are some, but I have yet to meet any of them. There are Japanese brasilians, Jewish brasilians, German etc. But note no one walks around going "I am a German brasilian"- we just see ourselves as brasileiras/os. And the history behind all of this is migration, immigration, and slavery lol and of course procreation amongst all these different people. It's basically no different than any other country that's just as diverse. I can only assume by "Indian" this poster means Indigenous people of brasil, you know the ones who were there before others.
