i second that..Philippines has some of the most beautiful women...they do very well in beauty pageants....i just saw that Miss Philippines won the Miss International 2005 Pageant..WOOO HOOO..lol

remember though, beauty pageant models are not quite what fashion is looking for

^ very true....there's is more about talent, beauty intelligence and al that jazz.....but there are still very beautful women there....not to say there aren't anywhere else..my fave models are brazilian (Adrian Lima) and Russian (Natasha Poly) aaaand....uugh.to many to name right now..lol

i think i recall reading somewhere that the Nothern Brazilians have a darker skin color whereas the southern areas of Brazil have peoples who are lighter-skinned. much like Italy does.

Hmm... I always thought it was exactly the opposite with Italy - lighter in the North and darker in the South, it somehow makes more sense to me as that's how it is everywhere.

The Ford Brazil "Supermodel 2005" contest was won on Nov 29th by a 13 yo from Jundial, Augusta Lucchini. Ultracute Camila Finn was also 13 when she won last year, even if Ford NYC claimed she was 16 when she showed up in NYC...the international final is on January 18th.
