...anyone do any tricks to buff away dry skin on lips?
Well, the only thing I know that works is when you are in the shower and your lips absorb all the water; the dry bits are then easily rubbed off under the running water and you have fresh, soft skin underneath. :) I know that sounds kind of gross, but it definitely works.

I do that too, all the time. I use my fingers or a (softish) toothbrush. You just have to watch out not to overdo it, or you can end up with really raw, sore lips :(

My favourite lipbalms are: plain vaseline, "Balmy Nights" by Victoria's Secret, and sometimes the 8 hr cream

also, c.o. bigelow makes a nice lip buffer. it is just a sugar scrub so it is mild but it will make your lips smoother.

my favourite has to be elizibeth arden 8 hour cream (if you go to the counters and ask for samples they give you mini tubes for FREE which are great for popping in your handbag). Some people really hate the smell but I really like it or maybe thats just me being strange

can you give me the specific explanation for this? Thanks.

hey guys...im thinking of buying carmex because i saw it at the store today. Is there any scent to the lipbalm?

The pot lipbalm has a light scent but i don´t think can discribe it, it´s light and a bit refreshing.
The tube (more liquidish version) doesn´t smell i think.

Whole Foods tangerine flavored lip balm is the most delicious smelling balm i've ever came across! I go through that stuff like its going out of style...

BE Buzz Latte is so so great. Smells amazing, is a little glossy, and I find it to be slightly plumping.

blistex lip tone is one of my new faves...its a lip balm with spf18 and a great pink-brown tint. the balm is quite moisturising and its water resistant. great in the cold!

can anyone recommend a good lipbalm that's not to glossy and gives you a just bitten a berry look? :)

I use Kiehl's lipbalm HUE No. 30G (but there's other colors available) I've had mine for so long and still plenty left.

nivea lipcare in cherry is great! it definately gives a berry colour, light shine but not glossy. it does feel a little waxy, however.
