Best Lip Balm

Nivea Lipbalm the one with a tint of colour, comes in strawberry and cherry. Taste smells and looks amazing. Not to mention it moisturizes your lips like no other and its cheap!!!

I used to be all about Carmex freshman year of college. Fast-forward a year and I wear more Burt's Bee's through the combined influence of my boyfriend and my mom. My boyfriend was always a fan of the beeswax for his hands. And my mom gave me a Burt's Bee's lip shimmer in papaya. The smell and taste of the products is nice. Definetely one ooverally fruity.

apart from the fact that it stinks like crazy, Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream really does live up to the hype, it's the best lip/hand/general moisturizer ever, especially when you're on a plane. Nothing saves my lips in the winter quite like it.

Almost as good but not nearly as stinky is Molton Brown Vitamin Lip Saver - nice and thick but easily absorbed, not waxy, a touch of shine and tasteless.

Just met the Labello Cherry, and I´m crazy about it. It´s so good and only a couple of bucks. A rosy-cherrysh hue and almost no sheen. Super natural!
Also Korres in wild rose, it´s shinier even but the same cherry hint of colour. The Korres pot is great, but it´s a drag ending up with a glossy pinkie every time

8 Hour Cream smells like Oregano to me

when i tried it, it smelled like my kitchen when i cook Ragu Bologna.

8 hour cream seriously sucks. It's smelly vaseline.

 no way do you honestly think so? i think it's really good - vaseline just seems to stay on top of my lips, kind of coating them in a waxy layer, whereas 8 hour cream really absorbs into my skin so that even when it's worn away my lips feel softer. I think it's a great product but good lord it stinks

hmm well i like the blistex lip balms, as well as nivea/labello, but they easily get way too oily almost and it gets to the point of just gross

burts bees of course is great, but then of course theres the delicious smelling body shop lip butters (i've got it in guarana), and instead of lip gloss when i'm going out i put vaseline on my lips cause its uber shiny and uber moisturizing at the same time!!

I've tried so. many. lip balms. And out of all of them, I've only really liked the Burt's Bees and Mary Kay lip balm. There was also this really good mint one from Bath & Body's Work, but I forgot the name? Anyone know? It came in a green and black tube or whatever.

Uhm, yes. You know, the main ingredient is petrolatum jelly = vaseline. Plus, there's lanolin oil and mineral oil in it = bad for the lips, actually dries them out. I can't believe that so many people buy into the hype, because it really is smelly crappy vaseline. It even has parabens in it.

The only thing that has ever worked for me is conditioners based on beeswax, esp the one from Nuxe. And I love that it's matte and non-sticky, I hate getting my hair stuck on my lips

I've tried a myriad of lip balms over the years, but the one that works best for me is Carmex.

I love clinique's superbalm!
thebodyshop also has some nice lipbalms, especially the pink grapefruit lip butter and the born lippy watermelon lipbalm. they smell divine. ^^

Forsvarets hudsalva.

It's from the Swedish military I think, and bloody hard to find here.

carmex is definitely good..

i also have a crabtree and evelyn jojoba oil lip balm that's great

and another one that i like is Lypsyl Lypmoisturizer

^_^

Carmex is pretty good but my personal favorite, after discovering it during vacation in Europe, is the Sephora professional lip balm which comes in the little black and white pot. I hate having to use my finger to apply it but the product itself does wonders for my lips.
