The best Lipbalm I ever had was called LipIce which gives a cooling sensation on Cracked lips... It really is like putting ice on your lips and it really is awesome.. I got mine from Malaysia...
Anyone tried the Sweet Balm from Lancome's spring/summer "French Riviera" Line? The Lait de Coco tastes like coconut&cream candy, but I don't know if it moistureizes well enough.
Co. Bigelow and Apothecaries rose salve and Pure Simplicity Rosemary hydrating lip protecter both available at bath and body works and they last FOREVER!
The Burt's Bees is too waxy for me, doesn't really seem to sink in. Mode de Vie Karite Lips is pretty good, but sometimes seems waxy. Best when warmed up by being carried in jeans pocket for a couple of hours. Nice if you like vanilla.
The most recent winners are from Lush. I like the Honey Trap, but I like Whip Stick even better. These are also best when kept at body temperature.
I don't know if you can get it in Vienna, but I have a Bonne Bell Lipsmacker in every room of the house--Dr Pepper is my favorite flavor (I drink it too). About $1.25 each.
Smith's Rosebud Salve or Strawberry Salve (Sephora carries it, but so do many drugstores) is nice. Unfortunately, the tins tend to get banged up really easily in one's purse, and sometimes it becomes impossible to re-open or re-close the container.
So for my purse it's usually Bonne Bell LipSmackers. The Vanilla Frosting gloss in a long tube with the wand is terrific.
