Best Lip Balm

Carmex is the best! And it's inexpensive (about £2.50 in the UK).
Vaseline is great too.

If you want something moisturising to apply before lipstick, I use Clinique's Soin de Levres. It's like a serum and it's not greasy. Like a moisturiser for lips. It's one of the very few Clinique products I like.

I recently bought clinique superbalm in clear.
At first i wasn´t liking it at all, but now i love it!

It kust stays on your lips like most lipbalms don´t, so it just sits there and really moisturizes, besides, with a bit of lipstick on top looks just marvellous!!!!

For me its still Chapstick nothing works better, Carmex burns and Vaseline comes off too quickly for me. But that JMO

Dove has come up with a new lip balm.
I bought it cause the packeting looked so ' lipstick ' - ish and convinient. It smells very pleasent and does a very good job moisturizing for a low price :)

I love, love, love the Amilab brand- I discovered it in Paris, and it's amazing. It smells like orange blossom and my lips have never been so soft...quite a good deal for five euro each...Too bad I can't find it here in the States.

Otherwise, I use good old fashioned Carmex!

I love Jurlique's lip balm. You can buy it in a pot or as the lippie thingamabob. Smells nice!!

I'd love to try that Smith's Rosebud Salve but I can never seem to get my hands on one!!

I like vaseline best, theres one in the uk in a green pot with aloe vera in it and it totally does the trick for my chapped winter lips ! Also loving carmex like most of you guys!

I still think you can't beat vaseline :) . Nivia do a good "chap stick" style balm aswell.

Carmex and smith's rosebud salve. Unfortunately neither taste nice but they do the job. I've tred the body shop ones-smelt gorgeous but was just too sticky- more like lipglosses than a balm.

try blistex's medicated (its blue and comes in a pot) it has a lot of petroleum in it and i use it right before sleeping, and in the morining, i use a washcloth to wipe off the dead skin cells, my lips are smooth and soft all day.

my lips have been crazy dry this winter, and none of my usual lipbalms have been doing the trick... i thought all hope was lost. but then i tried "whipstick" by lush. it smells like chocolate and is just plain amazing. thin and light, but moisturizing. stays put for a while. really great stuff.

Bonne Bell's Lip Smackers are my old standby because I have tons of them and they taste really good. The A&W Root Beer is my favourite however they had a holiday one last year that was a berry pie flavoured one that I love also.

I use to use the dr. pepper one ^ LOL
Also , the raspberry is soooo delicious.
Anyhow, I tried the peter thomas roth lip moisture. it looks like a gloss but goes on matte. it's amazing! I got it in a gift pack.

Watch out for the lip balm. It can be addictive!

Be sure to read the Carmex entry:

"I believe it is the comedian Paula Poundstone who has a routine about Carmex addicts. She jokes that there is a secret wing at the Betty Ford Clinic for such people, and that they roam the halls begging for "just one little dip" of their finger into a pot."

I never use lip balm. I have better luck with lipstick, especially Mac.

I have been on a search for probably for the last few years for the perfect lip balm. I have severe chapped lips all the time so i am constantly applying gloss and balm. Anyway, I have come across the best two balms. Sugar by Fresh, I believe it is $22.00. It smells and tastes great and is not sticky, it absorbs into your lips. The second is Aqua Di Parma, Blu Mediterraneo, Arancia. If a lip balm can smell beautiful, this would be it. It was difficult for me to find. I bought a new one off of ebay for 27.00. I think it retails for the same price. These 2 balms have been the best I have used. Especially the Sugar, I was really amazed!

Has anyone else got anything to say about Fresh's Sugar Lip balm??
