Best Lip Balm

i just got my new carmex sticks :)
strawberry (spf 15) and mint (spf 30), strawberry is gorgeous, mint is ok, the smell reminds me of mint candies I really don't like
anyway I was wondering if they changed the formula or something, cause the sticks are not yellow like they used to be, they're more transparent
or maybe only the flavoured ones are different
I think I will stick to original not flavoured carmex in the future :)

I've tried every lip balm I've seen (almost!).

My favorites are:
* Prada (expensive, but they last awhile and each tube breaks down to about the price you pay for an ordinary tube at the drugstore)
* Bloom (in the pot, can be hard to find, but luckily I have a store nearby that stocks the entire line)

I just picked up two tubes of 'Lip Vitamins' in cute little tubes and great flavors at Wal-Mart (closest drugstore to my college campus). They are really surprisingly good. They moisturize really well. They were on sale for 75 cents a tube, so you can't go wrong. The design of the tubes are really cute too.

I've tried countless! Two of my favorites:

1) Bobbi Brown Lip Balm. It features an SPF15 and a very long list of natural emollient oils. The only down side is that it comes in a pot and requires your finger for application

2)Erno Laszlo Phormula 3-9 Lip Balm. Just as amazing as Phormula 3-9 facial formula. Down side: it carries the same price tag

I really like the lip balm by MAC. ^_^

I hate the Lip Smackers ones. :ninja: They stink up the entire classroom every single morning.

Its not strictly a lip balm, but I've been applying eye cream to my lips and the results have been amazing! I massage a little bit of Neostrata eye cream into my lips and straight away the lips are full, plump and you can't see any lines. It feels better than a lip balm in some ways, such as that it gives incredible moisture but its instantly absorbed and doesn't leave greasy residue

I do that too sometimes! :woot: It happened by accident ... I was applying eye cream and there was some leftover so I thought it should be fine for the lips since both these areas have thinner skin. I was pretty pleased with the results ...although that's not to say I use eye cream on my lips all the time. Only when there is excess on my fingers ... :innocent:

I have been using the body shops vitamin e one it sorted my lips out good.

it's weird... i've kind of become addicted to strawberry chapstik. i always thought it was waxy and the complete utilitarian lack of luxury kind of irked me. but it works so well, tastes good and isn't sticky. it even gives a nice rose flush to my lips.

my next buy will be Dr. Pepper flavored Bonne Bell Lip Smackers in the big 1"x4" XL semi-comical jumbo size.

I bought some carmex cherry flavor in the tube the other day. It said 'new' on it. I like it. It leaves me lips oh-so-soft and yummy.

I use Jack Black's Intense Therapy Lip Balm (even though its for men's) and found that it works really well. I also just bought Burt's Bees in Lemon Lime and it doesn't seem to moisturize at all.
Has anyone tried Bourjois' Night Balm?

I like this lip balm from Lush:woot::

I really like the ones at BBW, C.O. Bigerlow Menthashines, especially in cinnamon! I don't ever leave it behind. I also like the Savannah Bee Co. ones there.
Hey, I definitely agree...heh. And not just because I work there-I LOVE the Cinnamint Mentha. My favourite has to be the Root Beer Mentha because it tastes good and it really helps on my lips when they get chapped.

I dislike carmex lip-balm, even though I have like loads of them. They're so waxy and make me feel like I'm wearing medicine on my lips :ninja:

The Body Shop vitamin E lip-balm is very very very good. :D

The Body Shop Passion Fruit and Burt's Bees original.

That Alba coconut one sounds wonderful. (next time!)

My favorties are:
Labello cherry (gives a natural rosy color to my lips) & MAC's tinted balms
