and there is that darned owl again! =) i love the fact that unlike some celebrities, bjork isn't afraid to be photographed wearing some of her favorite pieces more than once. not to mention that she's innovative and bold.

Björk and Timbaland?

I don't know, this might have been great 10 or 15 years ago when she did do hip-hop but--to use a pun--she's really homogenising her work by doing such music and working with such a mainstream producer. And didn't she always say she would never do pop music??

it might be great for Furtado and Timberlake but they aren't iconoclastic artists like she is. Unless,he's just talking out his ****.

Timbaland continues to be one of the most innovative and influential forces in music!!
The man behind Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake's recent success just revealed some VERY exciting news about a talked about project that is finally (definitely) coming to fruition.
Timbaland is working with Bjork on her new album!!!
And, the beatmaster says that the Icelandic avant guard princess' new record will be a hip-hop oriented affair.
In a new interview, Tim talks for the first time about working with Bjork, "[The new Bjork album] It's crazy - I'm going tonight to go hear it. It's hip hop. I can't really describe it to you - if I had it right now I'd just play it to you. That's the best way for you to understand, and I'd let you tell me what it is."
We can't wait to hear it!!!

Interestingly enough, Im not even at all surprised. It's really obvious, especially for Bjork. It should make for some very interesting music...Even Madonna has dabbled w/ hip-hop (thankfully she stopped), the cross-pollination of genres is the new "it" thing.

Tweet loves Bjork. Somebosy read this so I can see a (hopefully fruitful) collaboration.

i've never had any soft spot for hip hop (not all) but this should be interesting as i love bjork. i hope it works out. really odd pairing though.

I think if it were somebody like an M.I.A. collab.,that might be interesting as her hip-hop actually sounds original(with all the cross influences she has)but somehow working with Timbaland sounds really generic to me. I mean Björk meeting Timberlake?? The mere sound of that really sickens me.

Bjork is so original, Timbaland so mainstream and unoriginal... I don't really like the idea of it.

i absolutely hate the thought of this, but am trying to keep my faith in her

wait what's hip-hop now again... because i would have thought some of medulla could be considered her version of that?

I think it's called breakbeats or something which is derived from hip-hop in the late 80's/early 90's but it isn't obviously so,I don't think.

btw, that jackson dress is Bernhard Willhelm not Jeremy Scott...and the fur shawl top is Comme des Garçons...
