Boobs

There was an ad about breast cancer when I was younger and it's message was basically how we take them for granted whether they are too big, small, far apart, low. You're just lucky to have a healthy pair.

Thank you! I actually stopped visiting this thread a lonngggg time ago for that exact reason. It truly has become a place to bash big boobs, which according to this thread are: 'ridiculous'; sl*tty and vulgar; do not look good in dresses, v-necks or pretty much any other clothes; sag heavily; are not at all edgy or fashion foward but are totally mainstream, attract sleazy men; and hang out in clubs.
That just made me laugh . I totally agree with everything you just said.
I already have big complexes about by boob size (I'm a C cup), I've had them since puberty. I was one of the first girls in my grade to grow boobs and it was horrible for me. Other girls would tell me that I'm showing off and things like that but what can you do when they're just there? haha It's not like you can really hide them =P. Anyway so then I kinda grew into them and started to accept them and actually got to the point where I liked them and came to realize that they're not that big. But recently my complexes have come back...everything in fashion is against boobs and reading this thread made it even worse. :(

I agree.. people should just be thankful at a time when so many women are dying or having to get mastectomies because of breast cancer.

@ madchenlieben
i agree with you that the picture shows a great proportion of boobs in combination with the rest of the body. anyway they don't depict very small nor very big boobs, yet i think they rather go into the smaller, average size, but still nice.
as a guy, i personally do not dislike anything more than fake boobs. it often looks just out of place and worse than before, cuz firstly they look like round balloons and secondly they feel like rigid gummibears:huh:
and then you even have to deal with 2 scars, which i don't consider as nice either, plus it's a foreign substance in your body, which ain't so convenient as well.
there are a few cases where i'd go for exception and say, yeah ok, here in this case i can really understand you getting plastic surgery. One of those reasons could be very distorted boobs, very saggy in order to push them up a lil' bit or just having no recognizable boobs. But those are true extreme cases. i personally think everything from A75 up to a C36 is just fine to me.
I mean sure some girls might not like their weight i front of their body, but do we not all have to handle some burden we don't wanna carry?
It's natural, so leave it at that.

@cherrypixie
here i don't really understand you either. a C cup for a girl, ok i don't know your proportions, but still, i don't think there's a reason to feel bad about what mother nature gave you up on the front.
it may be that you get a lot of attention from guys and girls, but do you depend on them how you are conscious about yourself? i don't think so, if then you should first start thinking about your own self consciousness, also self confidence but more a matter of self consciousness.
if your self-consciousness depends on trends of fashion industry then there's definitely something not ok. I wonder how could i say it without sounding offensive.
You know sometimes i wonder why girls care so much about their boobs, like it's sooo important to survive everyday life. If guys or girls stare at you cuz of your size of boobs, isn't it their issue in the first place and not yours?
I think you should learn to appreciate yourself independently of external factors.
Imho i also think a C cup can be very feminine, but still you have to separate between these guys who are like dowsing rods, who can't stop staring at bigger boobs and those guys who also like the size but are still able to normally talk to a girl with keeping eye-contact.
Easily to figure who are the morons among the mentioned.
Work on yourself a lil' in terms of gaining more self-confidence about your body and do not feel of minor value cuz a fast moving industry temporarily thinks it's not a contemporarily beautiful appearance.

just my two cents on this topic:P

i went through the exact same thing (i was accused of seeking attention because of how they choose to just pop out of whatever i'm wearing... there was also a rumor i stuffed my bra ) and for a long time i absolutely hated my C's. it was especially difficult for me to accept them since my mother and sister both have a small size and i just wished i had that gene so i could look as effortless as they look in clothes :(

recently i have come to fall in love them and have been dressing to flatter them instead of hide them. i think they're a fun accessory and they definitely don't have to limit anyones style. plus, my boyfriend loves them

and if you are tiny and small you would look terrible with big boobs, really! :flower:
i am tiny with big boobs and i think they balance out just fine.

Is it really hard that hard to hide a C? I spent a lot of time at that size and I find that C's are the most versatile by far. You can cover them up and emphasize them quite easily. They're quite a pleasant size to have.

So I'm 20 and I just realized I'm still growing. I last went bra shopping in early February and since then those bras aren't even close to fitting. I'm also really starting to really feel the heaviness, so that when I move about I'm constantly aware of their presence.

I think I'm at about a 34DD right now and no complaints really. I can't wear the clothes that I like best for the most part, but I've been adjusting my style to suit my body. And I disagree with the above statement that if you're small you won't look good with a bigger chest. Everything's relative and it's all about how you style it. I'm about 105 pounds, 5'6", and a 34DD and maybe it's because I'm a fairly conservative dresser, but I think I pull it off quite well. It's all about the full coverage bra for me.Maybe I'm not as chic as I'd like to be, but I'm not a Puritan. If you're a twig with t*** shaped like grapefruit halves and you constantly have them popping out of a bandage dress, then yea not so good of a look.

I've found people of all shapes and sizes really maximizing and playing up their shape. Might do a montage of that if I can get around to it.

well, to me, it really depends on the person and how she wants to portray herself.
big boobs could look really sexy and not sl*tty, small ones could look trashy too. it really depends on the person that has it. how they behave and all these

eventhough i agree that not all type of clothes will match *with either big boobs or small boobs*

but in all seriousness. we are woman, we should be happy and glad that we have curves, and not looking like a washing board or boys *which most models do, and most ppl in fashion world think its edgy.

one thing abt fashion that i dont really like is, they have an amazing power to make people hates themselves for not being 'perfect' by fashion standard. while in real life, seriously, if guys likes all flat and washing board kind of body, why should god create women with curves? might as well made all of them gay. LOLZ

i have 36A/34B depends on the bra, its small, since im 5'7" but what can i say? thats all i have, and might as well do the best with what u have right?

i hate my boobs....i'm like a 34B which looks tiny on me *EDITED*

I have been thinking about people's perceptions on the "perfect" boob size lately, mainly because I went from being a 32B to a 32DD in the space of two months (due to the pill). I sometimes felt like mine were too small, and I wished they were bigger...but then again I knew they were in proportion with my frame. Now I feel more confident, and I don't think they look that much bigger than before...nor do they look odd on my small frame, so maybe I shouldn't have been so harsh on myself before..

I think the talk about big boobs looking trashy should be avoided sil vous plait - women most of the time cannot control the size of their boobs, its natural. We should be grateful that we have healthy boobs, embrace what we have

I want my boobs to be smaller. Anyone has any excercises for that? I know you can't loose weight just in one part of your body but still...

not small nor big breasts, normal size like in that picture. although you can't consider that all guys have the preference for big breasts because every guy has a different view of it, in my opinion a woman's beauty is divided in many factors, the breasts aren't the most important. :flower:

Couldn't agree with you more.

^Thank you! :flower:

Doing chest work at the gym you can reduce your breasts' size. but you can't work that only, you would have to work the rest of the body as well because then you would get your chest toned & not the rest of the body. I'm sure if you go to a gym, the trainer there can explain you everything.

Yes, but in summer I don't visit the gym, only between fall and spring. I wanted to do some workout at home. But I will listen to you and ask a trainer about those exercises in fall.

^maybe doing push ups at home but honestly don't do that, it won't make you achieve what you want. Go to a good gym next fall then & ask to the trainer everything you need to know & s/he will make you a training schedule with all exercises & stuff to do there, you will have to loose weight in your whole body for the result of getting your breasts smaller, so it's really important that your trainer is very qualified & follows you always during your progress, never hesitate to call him/her when you have a doubt about an exercise or if you can already go to a next level in your training for h/she make you a need schedule ... It's important too that you take your training to the scratch.

I've found that exercise and weight gain/loss makes very little difference to mine, it's as if they've governed by factors which ensure they stay the same size regardless of what's going on elsewhere with my body fat.

True, if I dieted down to having 0% body fat, it would have to come off everywhere eventually, but the only thing I've found that's affected their size was taking the pill and then not taking it. It seemed that their size was more directly related to my hormones than my body's overall amount of fat.

Ok, I will. Thanks for your help.

Hmm well,I got measured last week, and instead of 34DD which is what I thought I was,I came out 30F ^_^

sometimes I complain about not being able to find tops and dresses that fit "the girls" (I'm 35D) but when I b*tch about it I have friends that'll pipe up saying "I don't have that problem" Well, no, they don't. I'm not saying they're "small" - but they don't know what it's like to have to be very selective when buying bras, tops etc. I used to be self-conscious about their size but now I'm ok showing some cleavage. Not too much, just enough.

I'm a 8DD (Australian) thats a 30DD (American)... I have to say I wish I stoped growing at a large C cup. I'm only 16 but thankfully I have not grown for over a year so I hope I don't get any bigger. I'm lucky I'm still young now and have perky DD, BUT OMG ALL I CAN SAY IS : I will hate gravity so much in a few years
