^There's a Bilzerian near me in Newton. I haven't gone yet... I fear eveything's gonna be too expensive...

is that in newton centre?
i used to go to national jean company over there when i was at BC but I didn't really shop around or even go into the other stores around there
(for clothes anyway )

my friends and I used to go to Johnny's freshman year when we lived on Newton Campus ..

Can anyone tell me if the private sale period at Bloomies is over? I got one of the card things with coupons in the mail, but can't find it to save my life. I want to go there tonight to get something I've been looking for, but I have no memory if the sale was last week or this week, or what.

Anyone have the details?

I was kind of disappointed in the new Natick wing. Too much hype I think.

^i went yesterday and was actually kind of impressed..
it's a big improvement from the previous Natick Mall
and it's also not up to its full capacity yet..
there seemed to be lots of spaces that were still being worked on..

my sisters and i didn't really buy anything, but as someone who's currently living in the suburbs, this definitely beats trekking into Boston traffic or going to Chestnut Hill (which I feel no need to do anymore because I can find all of the same stuff in Natick which is only 15-20 minutes away from my house)

i went to the natick mall on saturday and it looks beautiful!!!! i could barely recognize anything that was in it before. the new neiman marcus is gorgeous... a lot better looking than the one downtown, i think. the nordstrom is really nice too...they have a great shoe selection. i didnt get to walk around the walk much but i have to say that the new store by nordstrom called madewell is pretty nice and that you should go to the met bar if you can....they have the best kobe beef burgers around!.

everything in the stores are on sale....

everything in the newbury street store was 10-30% off.

it was originally bought by the same company that owns ny and company some years ago, but it was sold quickly when they found out about the alleged sex scandal.

if anyone's out in the further west suburbs (i guess? don't know how to geographically describe it ) i was at the tjmaxx in milford earlier today and they had a few pairs of nice marc jacobs shoes for around $225...

there was a cool pair of purple booties with some silver studs on them in a size 7 (cooler than they sound)
and a few variations of the sort of metallic-y flats with the rose on them.. some different colors of those..
and a pair of low-heeled reddish/purplish heels that were similar to the rose ones in a size 8..

i figured i would post in case anyone was interested!
